Courtyard By Marriott Hillsboro

Location is good with lots of shops, restaurants, movie theatre close by. The hotel and grounds are all very well kept and up to date. Always enjoy my stay.

Unlike most business hotel flags, Marriott has hit the right note with the Courtyard brand and amenities. Attention to the needs of travelers for support, with a trained and friendly staff, makes the overall experience worth the trip. We appreciated the focus on sustainable design and operation. Although we could not use the spa and health facilities on this trip, they were terrific and well done. HOTEL IS CLOSE TO RESTARANTS AND SHOPPING IN NICE AREA, BUT OFF MAIN ROADS. WOULD PROBABLY STAY HERE AGAIN IF NEEDED TO BE IN HILLSBORO AREA. APPROX 15 MINUTES WEST OF PORTABLE ON FREEWAY.

The Courtyard Marriott in Hillsboro is a very nice property centrally located to the West Portland area. The hotel is contemporary and clean with a helpful staff. There is a host of fine restaurants and shopping all within a 15 minute drive.

We have stayed at this hotel a few times. We always get a good rate. The room is comfortable clean and it is quiet. This time when we arrived we found our room smelling very must and moldy. We opened the windows, thinking that it would help but it didn't. We called the desk and they came with air freshener. We went out for a few hours and when we came back the room smell had not changed. We requested to change rooms which we did. The next room wasn't as bad, but still had the same smell. One staff member told me they had just cleaned the carpets and one told me that the ventilation system had just been worked on, which could have created the smell. Nothing really negative to say, would gladly stay here again.

This hotel has comfortable beds and well appointed rooms. Room lighting is ample and the hotel lobby breakfast was convenient although it is not free.
