Hotel Guest Reviews of the Courtyard By Marriott New Orleans Convention Center

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Designing is very unique, pretty and contemporary. Nice pool and dining area.
Valet parking is $28 per night, kind of expensive.

The Location was really good, could walk to most of the places we wanted to go.

It was a very nice hotel and had most of the things we expected.

The best part about this hotel was leaving it.
Too many things to mention.

This hotel is a hot mess from soup to nuts. It starts with the chaotic valet-only car wreck at the front door, continues to the slow, useless, overwhelmed front desk clerks, and peaks at the utter absence of any staff at the food counter. There are dozens of hotels nearby; choose one of the others.

Nothing. Leaving was the best part
Did not get the room originally booked. Double charged my card for parking took 3 days to clear my account. People at front desk gave me no answers to why my room was wrong and would not fix it.

Don't expect the specific room booked example is I booked a room with one king size bed and received a regular room with two Queens. They won't know what you're talking about at the front desk and will have no answers or even offer any to begin with.

The bed was so comfortable, and the staff were all great.

Perfect place to stay in New Orleans. It's a very nice hotel for a great price, and the location is excellent.

Great location, nice rooms and friendly staff.
Lack of microwave and mini-fridge. Expected out of a high price hotel. Cost of parking (valet $28) was disappointing, but that was an average price for all the hotels/parking garages in the area.

- Parking was a surprise after booking. Again, the price for parking was pretty much the same at all the hotels in that area. So if you want to drive and stay around the convention center expect to pay around $30/night for parking. - The area was great. Walking distance to French quarter (about 15 min). Riverwalk was right there by the convention center. -Beautiful lobby and free wireless internet was a plus. ...read more

Easy check in, good location.
Was not carrying a credit card on this trip, so paid a refundable $25 deposit per room for incidentals. Girl who checked us in made a mistake and did not correctly credit our room the $25, after manager involvement, was able to get deposit back.

Good location, there is a nightclub across the street which can be a noise issue late at night. Pretty pool area, close to Mulates (excellent restaurant), convenience store on corner on block towards river. close to Riverwalk and trolley stop. Room was clean, no free coffee anywhere in hotel, nor complimentary breakfast. Valet parking was $28 per night, a tad expensive in our opinion. Laundry, pool, exercise facilities and bistro on site. Did not eat at bistro, menu looked standard. Would stay here again. ...read more

The hotel was newly renovated and well furnished. The staff was friendly and prompt.
The room was directly across the street from a club, and loud music could be heard in the hotel throughout the night.

The lobby and breakfast area, very nice.
The rooms were not as nice as the lobby.

The lobby should always give a strong indication of what to expect when you get to your room. The couch, desk, bed, average at best. This hotel has the potential to compete or out do,any hotel in the downtown New Orleans area. The rooms could be so much better with a little upgrading.
