Hotel Guest Reviews of the Courtyard By Marriott New Orleans Convention Center
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.June 13, 2013

It was a very nice hotel and had most of the things we expected.

This hotel is a hot mess from soup to nuts. It starts with the chaotic valet-only car wreck at the front door, continues to the slow, useless, overwhelmed front desk clerks, and peaks at the utter absence of any staff at the food counter. There are dozens of hotels nearby; choose one of the others.

Don't expect the specific room booked example is I booked a room with one king size bed and received a regular room with two Queens. They won't know what you're talking about at the front desk and will have no answers or even offer any to begin with.

Perfect place to stay in New Orleans. It's a very nice hotel for a great price, and the location is excellent.

- Parking was a surprise after booking. Again, the price for parking was pretty much the same at all the hotels in that area. So if you want to drive and stay around the convention center expect to pay around $30/night for parking. - The area was great. Walking distance to French quarter (about 15 min). Riverwalk was right there by the convention center. -Beautiful lobby and free wireless internet was a plus. ...

Good location, there is a nightclub across the street which can be a noise issue late at night. Pretty pool area, close to Mulates (excellent restaurant), convenience store on corner on block towards river. close to Riverwalk and trolley stop. Room was clean, no free coffee anywhere in hotel, nor complimentary breakfast. Valet parking was $28 per night, a tad expensive in our opinion. Laundry, pool, exercise facilities and bistro on site. Did not eat at bistro, menu looked standard. Would stay here again. ...

The lobby should always give a strong indication of what to expect when you get to your room. The couch, desk, bed, average at best. This hotel has the potential to compete or out do,any hotel in the downtown New Orleans area. The rooms could be so much better with a little upgrading.
