Hotel Guest Reviews of the Courtyard By Marriott New York Manhattan/Times Square South
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.May 10, 2013

I have always looked forward to staying at Marriott hotels. The Essex House, the courtyard, the residence...but after witnessing the behaviour of front desk staff toward a senior man in need of a washroom...I will find it hard to return without that memory. Very unsettling. Please do not spend your money on a hotel that allows this type of behaviour.

It's in a great location. The room size was probably above average for Manhattan hotels int its price range but was overall underwhelming.

Hotel is near drug stores where you can purchase bottled water etc. Lots of restaurants close by. 7 blocks from Empire State Building (very walkable).

Great room. Great location. Very clean and comfortable. Only reason it is not higher than 3 stars is because it's small and does not include stuff like a swimming pool and a parking. But if you're in NYC to see NYC it's the perfect place.

If you want to a hotel with the right staff to take care of you! Then you have to pick this hotel. They let us check in early, they let us store our bags after we checked out. We used the facilities down stairs which was a big help. They gave us extra towels and blankets. The front desk let me rant about my stressful teenagers and i walked away in a great mood. I was able to keep my leftovers in my fridge and then warm up in the microwave and buy a beer in the little store. I was able to get my coffee fix and relax before everyone got up. Water was so hot in the shower. The concierge ladies were so great! They knew where everything was and even help me find a PHO Restaurant and routed us to the a free boat ride that saved us tons of money!! When i was exhausted from a long day of walking and kids, i was able to come back and just rest. when the kids hogged the TV, i went downstairs where there were three of them with my own little seating area. I changed my flight back with the business computers and was able to just enjoy. I did not have to spend tons on a taxi because I was in the middle of it all-Hells kitchen, fashion, time square. only to return to a bunch of smiling faces! loved it!! A 100 points in my book. ...
