the hotel had a lovely view from the restaurant/lounge
the room was small and the tv was at an awkward angle from the bed
i liked the hotel a d would stay there again. it was hard to find with the google directions that i had.

The beds are old and very hard. We have been staying there for 5 years and during that time nothing has been updated. Need new beds!
The hotel is due to be updated and it needs it. We have been staying there 5 years on the average of at least 2 weeks per year. The beds have not been replaced and they are very hard. The lobby is being updated soon and then they said they're starting on the rooms. This hotel is in a good location with river views so they would be wise to update. Friendly and helpful staff make t a pleasant stay if you can sleep on hard beds! ...

Great breakfast - staff helpful - honest (left purse in room by mistake).
There were signs of potential deferred maintenance issues - holes in sun block curtain, gate to restricted parking broken, shower head came off (but was easy to put back on).

This hotel is our favorite place to stay in Portland. It is close to Expo, the freeway and our daughter's house! The staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and comfortable.

Chris was at the front desk and, as always, friendly and professional. We love the secure free parking, the quiet clean rooms and the closeness to North Portland. Thank you!

The location near the Washington state border was very convenient for us on this trip.
If I were wanting to spend a lot of time in Portland proper, I would think this location would not be the best.
Pleasant hotel with easy access to the freeway.

The courtyard was really beautiful and I loved seeing the harbor while I ran the treadmill.
The bathroom could have been cleaner and needs to be updated.
Overall this place was clean, quiet, friendly, and cozy.
