The staff was very friendly and efficient. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable.
The room was right next to the elevator and not well insulated. We could hear people talking in the hallway after we went to bed. In all fairness, we did not ask to have our room changed.

Easy to get to off the highway. Staff was very friendly and efficient. Overall the hotel is clean and spacious. Would recommend to anyone. We were picking our daughter up from the University of Pittsburgh. Easy commute to the school - only about 15-20 minutes away. Plenty of restaurants located nearby the hotel as well.

Clean room, large enough size, good bath, lobby, courteous staff.
There should be a sign on William Penn Highway. The entrance was very hidden from that road. There could be a better quality coffee maker. There were many pillows. But they were all similar in stiffness. They could differ more in stiffness.

The William Penn Highway has many shops and badly synchronised traffic lights. Entrance from the other parallel street may be better.

Giant bathrooms.
The bathroom was so large it did take away from the space in the rest of the room.

The hotel is in a strange spot that was a little difficult to navigate around. However, a lot of Pittsburgh is like this. There was a little of everything around the hotel including close access to highways, grocery store, Target, gas and other restaurants.

The young lady at the desk when I checked in (Alexandra?) was very friendly and extremely helpful. I was impressed with her. The room was nice and well laid out. Sheets and blankets were very soft and comfortable. Pillows left something to be desired.
Location. It was a very hard left turn from the main stretch of road.

This was my first stay at a Courtyard by Marriott. I was pleasantly surprised. The lobby was very comfortable and accessible. I liked the cafe with the bar and the fireplace setup with books and the tv. I thought the giant information board with hotel and local information was really neat and convenient.

staff was great. They actually came out from behind the counter to give you your room keys and show which way to go, etc. Very personable. Rooms were nice, big and clean. Beds were awesome!

I got a great price for this room and it was well worth it!
