Hotel Guest Reviews of the Courtyard By Marriott Portland City Center

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

THE ROOMS
THE PRICE WE HAD TO PAY TO PARK OUR CAR

THE HOTEL ROOM WAS VERY NICE BUT PLEASE NOTE THAT THE HOTEL HAS NO ACTUALLY PARKING, IT COST $30 A DAY TO KEEP IT IN THE LOT THEY VALET TO, OR YOU CAN LOOK FOR YOUR OWN PAY PARKING LOT.

Great location downtown...walking to everything or public transportation on both side streets. Spacious room with 2 queens, views, everything worked. Free coffee in the lounge and in the room. The Grill on the corner was great! and did room service.
The elevators needed a room key...which drove us a little crazy. Parking was half price across the street, twice as much at the hotel :-(

Great value, location, and rooms! Use the parking garage across the street and save $15 per day. and rooms.

The location is awesome. Plenty to do right near the hotel and with Portlands public transportation there is no need for a vehicle if you plan on sticking to the downtown area. Rooms were nice and clean.
My particular room did not have a bathtub, which would have been useful for my 14 month old.

Great place to stay. I stayed in a four star hotel in downtown Seattle the two previous nights and I enjoyed this hotel more. I wish i was still there!!!

The staff were great! The valet was great with the exception of being charged $30 for valet that was not communicated before hand.
There was a $30 fee for valet. That was not communicated before hand. It just showed up on my bill. My room was a sliver of the corner of the building. Triangular shaped, just big enough for a bed, a TV on a table and a small chair.

I'll never stay here again. For just a few dollars more I could have stayed in a nicer hotel with a larger room. The location of the hotel was perfect for what we were in town for. Close to downtown and the waterfront.

staff was very nice, good location
no movies to purchase in room, elevator lobby is very narrow and crowded especially with luggage.

great downtown location, walking distance to lots of great neighborhoods/restaurants/bars. Rooms are a little small but okay.

Everything was great!
No free breakfast! Should be in all hotels today! Why is it the higher the hotel quality, the less benefits you get?

Great location and very clean! No free breakfast. Cafe is OK

We asked for two beds, was told by hotel and price line that we would be accommodated. It did not happen. We called in advance. I have used Priceline often in the past, I may not in the future.

Perfect location, great staff, awesome in-hotel restaurant
Valet cost

I booked this hotel for my girlfriend and I to celebrate our 1 year anniversary. Could not have been happier with the hotel and everything about it. The rooms are great, you're in walking distance to anything you could want, and the staff was awesome! I will definitely be staying here again when I go back to Portland!

The location of this hotel was great. Close to lots of downtown activities.
Valet parking only, with $30 charge. Also, there was a miscellaneous charge on my card, which I am currently waiting on a refund for (I did not use any bottled water from my room or elsewhere).

Great staff and the rooms were really cool!
Not too crazy about the valet parking situation - wish we could have parked our own car and paid less.
