Hotel Guest Reviews of the Courtyard Charlotte Arrowood

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Rooms were large. Bed was comfortable. Staff accommodated request for room not facing traffic or noise. Staff were very helpful and friendly.
Would have liked complimentary breakfast and coffee (Starbucks coffee sold on Site.)

Convenient to the interstate highway. Not a lot of restaurant selection at the location but there were food choices close by. Very very very friendly front desk. I would stay again. Clean and quiet.

We liked the hotel overall as we had stayed there last year and knew what to expect. We asked for a frig and one came right away. The best thing was how easy it was to find, and close to the highway.
We were upset about how expensive the breakfasts were. We would have preferred a complimentery breakfast rather than spend so much for a bowl of cereal. Thus we went to MacDonalds instead. If we stay there again we will certainly plan to bring our own.

The best thing was the ease at getting to the hotel off the highway and then getting back on. The breakfast was much too expensive for us. So bring your own.

We arrived late and left early, so did not experience much of the staff. But the guest room was very spacious and clean, and public spaces were likewise. Didn't have breakfast, but the exercise room was also ample.
We were very satisfied, but due to our brief stay did not have a lot of exposure.

The rooms are very spacious. They have a cafe bar which serves Starbucks coffee. Close to key highways. Pleasant exercise room.

Great location right off the interstate but far enough off the interstate that it is a very quiet property.

Great location, the hotel is under modest renovation but not intrusive at all and the property is in great shape. A very good value. Starbucks and two fast food places adjacent to the hotel.

I am currently on a 30 day road trip around America, and after 13 days this hotel and their staff were the best that I have had the pleasure to experience.

I have never been to Charlotte before so I didn't really know much about the place. The front desk staff and their manager made feel welcome and gave me very helpful advice about places to see and go. Not only did they do this for me but I observed them doing the same for other guests, also.

The Japanese maple and pink dogwood trees were blooming. Very appealing. Good landscaping.
TV was at right angle to the bed. Works better for us if the TV is at the foot of the bed and not the side. While the Starbuck's coffee shop was wonderful, I prefer having breakfast provided.

The staff is well-trained and responsive--as was obvious by the manager's activities for several hours in the morning. The manager was a wealth of information as well for us, mostly on botany. The layout and building security (keys to get back in the building)was effective and reasonable. The room lighting and availability of electrical outlets--to charge cell phones--was more than adequate. ...read more

We got stuck with a King room. Housekeeping went over and above to make our stay as good as it was going to get.
I have NEVER had trouble getting a room with 2 beds until now. The hotel was full of noisy kids who took all the 2 bed rooms in building. Because of this I'm not sure I will do Priceline again if my kids are tagging along.

Clean rooms. Nice lobby. Very modern. Hotel just renovated. Not thrilled with food situation. They have a Bistro with a VERY limited menu. Lots of liquor drinks if that is what you want. Also, hotel made me put $20.00 per day on my credit card for incidentals. A nuisance if you ask me. I hope that charge comes off my card. Hotel in a good location. We went to Nascar Hall of Fame and Carrowinds the next day. All fairly close but not to close to hotel. Lots of places in area to eat. I would stay there again. We were only able to get a king room. That didn't work well with 4 of us. I knew that was a possibility but never had that issue in the past. However, the hotel hosted several conferences of young children while we were there and they took up all the rooms. ...read more

I really liked that there was a book with ideas for places to go nearby.
I was expecting the room to be a little bigger than what it was.

There was always someone at the front desk and they all helped in making the Starbucks.
I was hoping the whirlpool area was working, but still was down.

This hotel was easy to get to and in a good location. I really liked the room because it has a small balcony which is a plus in a hotel. I asked for a room with a refrigerator and they gave one to me without any additional cost. The fitness center was clean and with newer equipment with TVs on the cardio. They also had ear phones to use if U forget yours.
