Hotel Guest Reviews of the Courtyard Charlotte University Research Park
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.April 30, 2013

This was a very nice hotel and the location in relation to Charlotte Motor Speedway was great. We would stay there again.

Good location. Great staff. Clean room. The mattress did not do well for me though.

The location is good if you're going to Ikea, otherwise it's quite a bit out of the way. The lobby area was recently updated, with really nice lounge areas that I did not utilize. The rooms were of good quality and plenty of space, though the updates were less recent. Elevators are somewhat limited, which was annoying. Room a balcony, which was a pleasant change. My biggest complaint was the absolutely terrible, flimsy, worthless pillows. Bring your own. ...

The hotel was a lot nicer than I expected. The decor was updated, modern and fun. The staff was very helpful with directions, bus info and navigating traffic. It is less than 2 miles from Trader Joes, Ikea, jack in the box and a bus stop that runs directly to downtown.

The staff (especially Robbie @ check-in desk) was very helpful. The hotel is located conveniently off of the interstate. I felt safe, and the room was very clean. Location is in a good part of town. It's just a stones throw from the university, and it's just a 15 minute drive to downtown, where all kinds of sports and arts-related happenings are going on. If you need a good place to lay your head for a couple of nights, you could do a LOT worse. I paid approx. $75 ($55 + tax) for one night's stay, and I feel I got a fairly good deal. ...
