Hotel Guest Reviews of the Courtyard Dunn Loring Fairfax

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

It was lovely, a great price, proximity to metro, BUT then came the weekend....(see below)
On the weekend there was track work, and using the metro became very difficult. On their website there should be a warning of this kind of disruption, as out of town guests wouldn't know to investigate this kind of thing.

Lovely Hotel, beautiful accomadations, friendly staff, with great underground parking, exercise room and small pool. Just a short, safe, 2 block-walk walk to Metro. Check out the track work schedule if you are staying over a weekend. If there are disruptions planned on the Orange Line, and you are relying on Metro, be advised that this is a BIG HASSLE and you might want to stay someplace closer to DC! ...read more

Good staff, sharp place, free parking.
The wireless internet was not accessable most of the time. I stayed on the 5th floor and it was limited access which you couldn't function versus unlimited access. When I did get on, it lasted two or three minutes before it kicked me off.

Good location, room was very well maintained and clean.

Top floor room was very quiet and afforded a pretty good view.

The first fully remodeled Courtyard I have stayed in, and everything about it - especially the rooms - has changed for the better.
A little disappointed at the snappiness of the employee standing behind the Café counter in the morning, looking as if she was waiting for customers, advising me that they closed 5 minutes ago.

Close to highways and easy to get to. Plenty of options to eat nearby as well as decent food offered in the hotel's restaurant. Rooms have been fully remodeled and are beautiful & comfortable. Most parking is in a secured garage, which is actually not a bad thing. Also very close to the Metro line's Dunn Loring station for sightseers. Would definitely return.

Clean, decent price menu, Free internet and close to metro.
Location is bad. Out in the boonies and
cheap. The closest place to eat is arbys.

The hotel itself is ok.

The Bistro in the lobby was great, loved having Starbucks coffee every morning!!
The Bistro should deliver dinner to your room; not make you pick it up.

Very good hotel; would stay here again if the price is right.

Clean rooms decently appointed. Flat screen HD TV.
No microwave in room.

It is what you expect from Courtyard Marriott - good value.

Well located and a fast check-in. Covered parking.
Needs a better café/restaurant situation; however, much dining in neighborhood. Hallway noise extends into sleeping rooms.

This hotel is near Tyson's corner and the metro system station, on the arterial Gallows Road. The area is rather congested in rush hours, but clears fast. The establishment is new and well maintained. Typical of Courtyards, it has only limited, picnicish, eating facilities. Staff is helpful and accommodating. The hotel offers free Internet and covered parking, but not breakfast. Rooms are comfortable but hallways are rather noisy, with inadequate sleeping room soundproofing. Overall, a good place to stay for business travelers wanting speedy egress/ingress. ...read more
