Hotel Guest Reviews of the Courtyard Fort Lauderdale Plantation
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.June 13, 2013

This was our pre-cruise hotel and we enjoyed our stay. The staff were helpful but not necessarily friendly. The room was larger than expected, the hotel is in a safe area with a large shopping mall nearly within walking distance and a large variety of restaurants close by. The courtyard and pool area is above average and was easily accessible directly from our room through the sliding glass door. ...

This was a great hotel. The only downside was the Bistro was extremely slow in the morning. However, it was not just this Courtyard that has issues with its Bistro service. Room had ants, lotion and shampoo bottles were previously used. Breakfast was expensive, not good, and breakfast staff was rude. Shuttle was late. Front desk staff was nice, but overall was just not impressed.

At this time it does not deserve a 3 star category. Much construction going on for a new lobby. The entry was covered with paper signs showing different route to the lobby registration. Bathroom sink much too small for 2 people to hold shaving and makeup items which was very cramped. The hair dryer was hidden behind the ironing board in the closet.
