Courtyard Fort Wayne Downtown At Grand Wayne Convention Center

Very nice hotel. Absolutely would stay here again. Stayed at the Hilton across the street a few months ago and preferred the Courtyard by Marriott Downtown. The room was much nicer and $20-30 less. To be fair, this is a newer hotel. It has a courtyard (with comfortable furniture and two fire pits)located between the hotel and the Ft. Wayne baseball field and park area which made for a wonderful view. The food was only
ok at Champions an attached sports-bar with a relatively limited menu. The breakfast offering was a self-serve bar but you could order eggs/bacon/sausage, etc. which was cooked to order, however you had to sit right out in the open in the hotel lobby. A very clean and nice place to stay.

The location of this hotel is very convenient to Downtown attractions, and also nearby to good shopping and restaurants. Did not like that you had to pay for parking in the garage, so opted to park on the street. My husband had to walk a block in the rain after dropping us off.

Loved the hotel and the staff, it was beautiful and would recommend it to anyone. The restaurant was good and their staff was great.

We loved our stay here. The hotel exceeded our expectations. Everything is new and the beds were luxuriously comfortable. We had appetizers in Champs Restaurant and it was nice and friendly. There is a lovely patio with fire pits where you can enjoy an evening. It's very easy to get to the parking garage through the back of the hotel and the hotel offered free parking. Hotel gave our room away even though we had prepaid and called the night before to confirm the reservation. They put us up in another hotel for that night, and since we had a 4 night stay, we refused to be moved back. They protested, but I booked for 4 nights, not to be moved around. They resolved the issue of payment transfer to the hotel we ended up staying at.

The hotel was clean and invitingly comfortable. Traveled with our young grandkids for the Ft. Wayne Zoo. The pool was something they were really looking forward to and there were many large groups of older kids there who totally took over the small pool. More staff monitoring of the pool activity would have made are stay much more enjoyable.

Very clean and easy to access being in downtown Ft. Wayne. Convenience of having the parking garage next door was great and was worth the $7 per day with unlimited access.
