Hotel Guest Reviews of the Courtyard King Kamehameha's Kona Beach Hotel

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Very clean. Centrally located. Very nice facilities.
Too many non-guests in the pool/hot tub area makes it more crowded and harder to use than it should be. Lots of splashing kids in the hot tub.

It's very efficiently run hotel especially for Hawaii.

Staff was great, very helpful. common areas in the lobby were very nice. pool area and hot tub were nice.
The hallways were dirty on our floor and stayed that way for several days, dirt/sand/construction debris on the carpet. room air filters had obviously not been serviced, as there was a streak of dust and dirt across the wall from the heater over the top o

Hotel has great location and a recent renovation, however since being purchased by Marriott cleanliness has fallen dramatically. Nice place to stay but for the price they charge it should be clean and check-in should be quick and efficient. The staff I dealt with were curious and helpful but obviously nobody checks on the cleaning staff as the room and hallway were not clean. good luck getting into the jacuzzi, as kids were jumping in and out of it completely unsupervised! ...read more

Awesome location
4-star prices for a 2-star place, and cruise ship traffic docks right in front of hotel when in port.

I would downgrade the star level on Priceline but was still very satisfied with the price and location. I was just expecting more

Neat, clean, and new. Friendly staff. Great location. Easy access to Kailua. Local decor.
I wish they had left more of the Hawaiian monarchy pictures on the walls of the lobby.

The remodel was done nicely. The restaurant remodel was fantastic and the food was top notch! The buffet is well worth it.

This was a GREAT hotel choice for me due to its proximity to the airport. The hotel staff was AMAZING...just TREMENDOUSLY kind and helpful! I THOROUGHLY enjoyed my stay and would HIGHLY recommend it to ANYONE traveling to the Big Island!

Easy access with convenient amenities nearby.
The pool was mediocre. Opted to swim in ocean nearby instead.

Clean, and well maintained.
Area behind hotel run down.

Clean, comfy beds, Well maintained, nice staff. Stay away from the street side if traffic noise bothers you. View from the W tower W side is great.

I like the Hotel's new renovations, location, cute semi private beach.
I really have no comment.

For a last minute get away. Courtyard is a best bet.
