Exceptionally helpful staff, both on the phone and in person. We had no car but wanted to go on an excursion for the day. They suggested renting a car from Enterprise, who would deliver it to the hotel.
Can't think of anything that we lacked or needed, that the hotel staff couldn't help with

Great location! A few blocks outside the Gas Lamp area so we weren't in the mix of the late night club action. Walking distance to the Ball Park and some great restaurants a few blocks away. Huge rooms and very cool, historical decor. We would DEFINITELY stay here again. Loved having a room on the 12th floor!

The rooms have been renovated and are quite charming. The overall structure of the hotel is quite elegant and has character. The staff was also very friendly and helpful at a few requests I made.

Overall, I found the hotel to be quite charming and affordable. It's at a great location just a block away from the gaslamp district. It's also only a 15 minute drive away from the San Diego Zoo. I would happily stay here again in the future.

The bed was extremely comfortable and they had plenty of channels on the tv.
I thought the hotel staff was not knowledgeable about the area and reluctant to answer questions.

Great location, comfortable rooms, but staff seemed reluctant to help travelers who have done very little research about San Diego and just popped in for a quick weekend vacation.
