Hotel Guest Reviews of the Courtyard San Diego Old Town

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The hotel & staff were wonderful
The pool area was super small

The hotel stay was great. The only bad thing is that they charged my credit card 2 times for incidentals. This is the 2nd time I have had this issue with Marriott. Very very frustrating!

I'm always disappointed when we have to pay extra for parking; $15/night!

Room was nice, would have been nice to have a microwave. Quiet and close to the transit.
I had left my camera at the computer station, when I asked later that evening and twice the next day no one had seen. When asked on the 4th day, the staff member who found it on 2nd day and put it in lost/found. Glad I kept asking.

Basic hotel nothing special.
Was not expecting $15 parking fee. Parking stalls are narrow and parking area is small. Worried about car damage. The doors were squeaky.

Close to old Town if you like that. Located in a crowded neighborhood with no parking. Too close to the freeway.

We're pretty familiar with and like the old town location. It has easy freeway access to go downtown, La Jolla, Coronado, & even Kearney Mesa.
The front desk staff wasn't very helpful when we asked for the complimentary earphone to be used in the fitness room.

The location and the courties staff
I love this hotel except that their is no parking available for large vans and I drive a large van. You need to create parking spaces for large vans.

This is a great Hotel the location is perfect within walking distance to Old Town the only disadvantage is there is no parking for large Vans and the Hotel is now charging 15.00 to park in the parking structure? I have been stating at this hotel several times and they never charged for parking before. I hope they go back to not charging for parking.

Very close to I5 and Sea World. Nice clean room. Very helpful and nice staff
Parking on the entry level is not good for full size car. If you have a full size car, park it in the lower level. The cafe is modern and nice, the food is OK but the service is terrible.

Nice clean hotel.

Close to lots of good stuff.
A bit noisy because it was right by the freeway. Also, a bit hard to drive to.

They charge $15/day for parking in their garage, but we just parked on street and didn't have any problems with it. We sometimes got a spot just across the street, and never more than 2 blocks away in the three days we were there.
