Hotel Guest Reviews of the Crowne Plaza Chicago Magnificent Mile

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Nice room, good locations.
Internet fail. Did not work, staff at hotel cannot address the issues. At least they didn't charge me for it.

They charge for Internet access. And it doesn't work. Also, no PPV, but not a big problem in a nice city like Chicago.

The hotel had a great location, a great view in the room, the set-up was great.
I wish that early check in was available and that wi-fi was offered in the rooms without a charge and that staff was more helpful.

The location was perfect. Just a hop skip and jump from Michigan Avenue and The American Girl Doll Store. The rooms were nice sized and clean. Our maid Elisabeta was the best, friendly and helpful.
The only complaint I would have is that it is located near the hospital, so lots of ambulance noise, but easily taken care of with ear plugs which I always carry since I am a light sleeper anyway. On our last day the elevators took forever.

If you want a nice clean place to stay that is centrally located in the Shopping area, this is your place. For the right price, I would book this hotel again. This rates as one of our best trips to Chicago and I think the hotel location and cleanliness had a big part of our satisfaction. I would suggest bringing ear plugs if you are a light sleeper due to the multiple ambulances going to the near by hospital. And plan that the elevators may take a long time on the day you check out. We almost missed our train on Sunday when we left due to the elevators. Again our maid Elisabeta was awesome, friendly and full of information. This is a great place to stay and I love sharing the information to other travelers. ...read more

Concierge was wonderful!
Staff at check-in were a little disorganized - took a long time to check-in.

I booked a four star hotel, and upon entering the lobby I knew I was not in what I would call a four star hotel.
