Hotel Guest Reviews of the Crowne Plaza Dallas Downtown
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.April 23, 2013

The front desk was great until the evening there was a guy by the name Billie that was just rude when we went and asked a question about something. Just has a attitude with us the whole night.

Do not stay unless you want to pay for a upgrade. The area was very run down. The mattress is very hard and uncomfortable. Very musty smell!!! The hotel needs a very major overhall!!!!!

We arrived only to be told that the hotel was overbooked and that our room was given away. Parking was $14/day. The clerk offered us a room 4 miles away for $50/night less, but we would still have to pay for parking. Since we wanted to walk to the Dallas Convention Center, we stayed at the Hyatt.

I would not book the Crowne Plaza again. People who travel to Dallas for conferences have several hotels to choose from which are in the general location of the Dallas Convention Center. I wish that I would have paid more money and stayed at a different hotel.

Great location. Neat nightclub/bar connected to hotel. We were on the ninth floor with a beautiful skyline/pool view. Unfortunately, it was too cold to get in. Hotel staff was very helpful in recommending dining, directions, and transportation options.

For the price we got a great deal. It was very close to uptown and main downtown attractions. There is really cheap parking around the corner and the staff is super helpful. The rooms are ok and could have been more cleaner. Other that it was a great stay at the crown plaza.

Make sure you know it is $14 a day for parking. If you need help with your bags, be prepared to wait. No one is at the front door to help unless you ask. But very clean and convenient.
