Hotel Guest Reviews of the Crowne Plaza Dallas, Near The Galleria

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The hallways to the rooms was not air conditioned and the layout was complicated.

A very nice hotel for the visitor who wants an on-site bar & restaurant, but not a good idea for those who just want a relaxing place to stay after seeing the rest of the city. The room was not at all what we expected. The television was an old tube 32" and unlike the website says - there was not a microwave and mini fridge in the room. The double bed was nice with soft bedding, but the sofa bed was not high quality or comfortable (apparently my request for two double beds was ignored or they didn't bother to tell me it was unavailable). I called the front desk for a blanket and was told they only had one housekeeper and it would be a while. It never came. ...read more

Bathroom fixtures were nice, and the bed was really comfortable. The free internet was suprisingly fast as well. And the parking was free, which is always a plus.
The television was the same tube one I had in my bedroom in high school...which was about 15 years ago. Since most channels are now in HD, the picture was distorted or just off. The reviews about the A/C unit were spot on. Freezing!

You do need a car to be at this location, it's in a business district, so there are plenty of restaurants and such, just not within walking distance. Also, I would not recommend this hotel for the handicapped simply because of how massive it is (the wings as well as the walk to the elevators). Hotel was very clean, and everyone was polite. Club level/wing was quiet even though the hotel was PACKED, which I was grateful for. There was also plenty of parking space even though the hotel was mobbed. ...read more

The area is great. The concierge was rude and dismissive. He was a young male.
I thought I had reserved a two bedroom. I was given a double bed and a sofabed. My son is 6'3" and I am six. My son slept on the bed and on the sofabed. It was not a pleasant stay.

Make sure you ask exactly what type of room you are getting. I was given a room with a double bed and a sofabed. A sofabed is not big or comfortable enough for tall people. The swimming pool was great the floor staff were very helpful.

1. breakfast and told as a priceline customerI could not buy breakfast 2. The parking garage is a maze, no numbers, no idea where you left car 3. Finding room difficult, passed 3 others same problem-keys not work arrive 9:30-in room 10:45

I recommend any of the other 7 priceline hotels above this. Room opens to pool and they started edging at 7:00 am - curtains must stay close as everyone can see in - the layout is difficult, parking garage is not marked, I was not allowed to purchase breakfast as a priceline customer - the keys did not fit when I arrived at room - I walked for 30 minutes before I found room - save your money and stay any average hotel and you will have a better experience - I arrived at 9:30 at the hotel and it was 10:45 till I was in my room and there was no one in front of me - note: no lugage help - no one offered map - directions given were -go in garage and try to get to second floor and walk in you will have no problems - garage not marked, had no idea what floor I was on, rows no marked for up or down - my experence was terrible - this hotel is * or ** at best ...read more

Nothing really!
Ice machine didn't work on our floor staff was short and brief didn't even tell me the best place to park to get to my room had to figure it out my self it was a big hotel as far as parking and where ur room could be!

Overall I was disappointed with my stay I should have selected the Sheraton for 3 dollars more I'm sure I would of had a better experience! Thus is my first bad experience in my 3 or 4 years of using Priceline!

The business center was just about the best activity they can offer for free. Others are good but very pricey.
No free breakfast they should offer free breakfast or low the price down like 10 dollars.

His hotel is not bad at all although it is alot of money. Staff wasnt the best. If I had to stay in the area I probably wouldn't want to go back to this hotel.

I use Priceline extensively specially in the Dallas market. At best this hotel needs to be 3 start not a 3 1/2.
Hotel was not very clean and I did get the feeling of being at a nice clean hotel. I have stayed at several Crown Plaza hotels and they are usually a lot nicer.

Decent hotel but not 3 1/2, may be a 3 start at best more like a 2 1/2 start in my opinion. Pillows were very small and squarish looking.
