The staff especially the concierge was fantastic. Everyone was friendly with my family and their needs. Breakfast meals were great but expensive.
The room for mobility access was small. A cot almost did not fit with comfort. The elevators were rather small for a wheelchair.

The hotel is beautiful with a great dining room. It is fairly close to some of the downtown attractions within 7-14 blocks. A nice walk. The staff were excellent and very helpful. The mobility room had a walk in shower but the room was small with one queen bed. A single cot was needed and barely fit. Furniture had to be moved around for a wheelchair. There is an ATM and Starbucks in the hotel. There are several other food places around the hotel. Valet parking is $42 a night. ...read more

Almost $50 for parking per night. And $20 for internet. Charging for internet is unacceptable these days. Room a bit cramped.

Almost $50 for parking per night. And $20 for internet. Close to metro train station. Really nice and friendly staff. Rooms are a bit on the smaller side, expected from a downtown location. Very clean rooms and hotel in general. Starbux downstairs and walk-able distance to many food and coffee shops.

Very friendly staff, clean rooms, building with lots of character. Old building but recently renovated.
Internet is expensive, I know this is the case with all fancy hotels but it is 2012 internet is not a special service anymore. Why are we charged for it. They even charge per minute to use the "business center" which is just a room with computers.

make sure you get rooms facing over the entrance as many have freeway noise! money must be a problem as there are no pay movies, and the sink tap took 4 minutes to get hot water the front desk even verified that??? strange?? easy parking

The location is great. We got two rooms with park view. We stayed from Friday to Sunday with two nights. Rooms are small, but very clean and recently updated
There are a few bars and clubs very close by, my girlfriend was kept up for both nights by the drunk people and cars honking, I slept fine. if you are a light sleeper, don't get the park view rooms.

Small area to park your car by the curb for check in, actually, it was a cluster funk. Also saw people with their dogs in the hotel, animal friendly

Very pleasant rooms. The beds were super comfortable! The staff was friendly and helpful. Loved the location, only one block from Metro station. Across the street from a lovely park. The restaurant and bar had excellent happy hour choices!
My only complaint: I could hear every noise my neighbor made in the room next door. Almost asked to move rooms, but things quieted down when I was ready to go to sleep. It was a room with a connecting door. May have been better if not adjoining rooms.

I will definitely stay here again! Good price for the location and quality of hotel. The valet parking was $42/day, then $5 per hour over 24 hours. They didn't charge us for the 2 extra hours we were parked! Eat and drink cheaply in the hotel bar during happy hour. Also, there is a Five Guys Burger at the Metro station one block away. Can't beat it for a bargain! Five Guys serves breakfast too! ...read more
