The heat didn't work in the room, no microwave in the hotel.

This is not a place that I would like to return to.

Location was great as i was taking my daughter to college.
Everything was great except for the housekeeping. They left dirty glasses and a dirty towel in the room.

The hotel itself was very nice. They only thing that kept it from being a "10" was the poor housekeeping service we received.

Reasonable costs. Location to Hampton University. Free WiFi. Free Parking.
Walls were paper thin.

The hotel needs to be updated. The bathroom lighting was very poor. There was no place to hang towels. Most bathrooms have a double sink. Very disappointed with one sink.

waterfront location,nautical theme,pleasant staff
no refrig,dangerous parking garage,unappealing restaurant,broken treadmill

I don't travel often so my impression of a 3+ hotel might have been unrealistic. I was disappointed that the room wasn't distintive and it didn't have a refrigerator? The bed however was awesome! The parking garage was dangerous for cars as well as guests. At night this could be problemmatic particularly for female guests. I was excited to use the gym and the one treadmill was broken. The front desk staff were very friendly and the lobby was clean and attractive. The restaurant on the outside of the hotel was not that exciting. We opted to skip having lunch there. The location was great. 1 block from bars and restaurants.
Security wasn't present. Kids everywhere unsupervised.

The bathroom shower had mold and missing caulk inside. Exercise room was filthy with cups and trash thrown about. Anyone can walk in and roam the hallways. Garage - wasn't totally bad but fix that elevator. Great location, OK nightspots close-by.
