Hotel Guest Reviews of the Crowne Plaza Phoenix

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Extremely helpful staff.
Public areas, lounge etc are very "tired". Rooms clean and better than the common areas

Use your priority club card to secure a free breakfast, you can sign up at the hotel.

Nice staff. Toiletries not your run of the mill...that was refreshing.
Rooms were pretty small with 2 queen size beds.

Great if you are just sleeping there the rand aren't a large family. Staff nice, indoor pool area great.

it was outstanding..the staff was very friendly, rooms were nice..pools and hot tubs were awesome
the beds were a little firm for my taste but that was easily overlooked..everything else was great.

Location. Parking.
The main reason for a room on this trip was to sleep. Sadly, the air conditioner was so noisy and the room next door so uninsulated that we we unable to sleep much. Keys didn't work the first, either. Others have complained of this, as well.

Great location with easy access and plenty of parking. Check your room prior to committing to stay. If maintenance issues, like the air conditioner in our room, were taken care of, it wouldn't be bad, at all.

Location, value
Room was not clean upon arrival. Had empty juice box on floor, and stained bed skirts on one bed.

Would recommend.

There was no refrigerator or microwave in the room. The website said that you get a free newspaper, but only certain rooms got them. The hotel was very close to the highway, so the traffic was loud.

This hotel is not worth the money, and it shouldn't be a 3 star hotel. There weren't even refrigerators or microwaves in the room. You could go to a Days Inn and get a microwave. The staff just hands you your key and says "here you go". They don't tell you about the amenities, or when breakfast is served or anything. I felt that we were treated differently because we booked with Priceline. For example, in the mornings most of the rooms had free newspapers outside their doors, but we did not. They also told us that none of the rooms had refrigerators, but I saw some that had them while housekeeping had the door open. I don't think that they were concerned with making us happy since we had prepaid online. The hotel is really close to the highway, and the traffic is very loud. There are some areas of the hotel that would be a safety violation if they had a building inspection. For example, near the elevators, there is a large recessed area in the floor filled with gravel that is about 4' x 4' that someone could fall into that is not marked or roped off. I had an exceptional experience with Candlewood, which is right up the street. It happended to be full this time. ...read more

The staff at check in was helpful and friendly.
The public areas were not kept clean. Room service dishes were left in the hall way for DAYS. The elevator smelled like vomit, the hallways had a musty smell. Take out trash was left in the hallways. Exterior door entrances would not accept room key.
