Hotel Guest Reviews of the Crowne Plaza Universal Orlando

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The hotel was close to Universal and the rooms were nice. Also the tiki hut at pool side was nice while the kids swam.
There was no wireless internet in the room without paying a daily fee and with a hotel that was over a hundred dollars I feel that the wi-fi in the room should be free. Also it cost $20 a night for a roll-away.

The Hotel is close to Universal and was on the same road so was very nice to get to that park. The room are nice and clean. However I wanted free wi-fi when I was looking for a hotel and the advertisement for this one was misleading unless you read all through the information. The wi-fi was free in the lobby only. If you wanted it in your room you had a pay a daily fee which I though was ridiculous for this service. I've had free wi-fi at less expensive and just as nice hotels. ...read more

Great rooms, great staff, great deals on attractions parks, etc. wonderful pool area, gym & gameroom. Spacious lobby, clean bathrooms. Great security, nearby wonderful restaurants and attractions. Best stay in Orlando !
Loved everything about this hotel

Many things to do and many places to visit just at a short walking distance from hotel. Restaurants such as Fridays, Buffalo Wild Wings, ihop, Mcds, Burger King, Pizza Hut, dominos pizza, and much much more all at walking distance. Attractions such as universal studios & island of adventures , wet & wild, RIPLEY'S believe it or not, bowling and best of all access to the famous I-ride (bus transportations to all other parks, seaworld & aquatica 15 min bus ride) awesome hotel location, so many options on what to do. ...read more

Great rooms great restaurant and bar easy to get a cab. Great location
That I had to pay an upgrade to get the two queen beds. The standard room has a queen and a pull out sofa. That is not right!

Free parking, free shuttles to parks, close to I-4.
$20 fee to get a room with two queen beds. King bed not available in priority floor, ended up with junior suite in a low floor, close to elevator (noisy). Room ok, but couch was stained, didnt look clean. Not rnough parking, spent 45 minutes looking for p

Only the internet.
Internet could be free in the rooms.

You need a car to do anything.

This was a nice hotel, but didn't meet the 4 1/2 star rating it was given. We expected more of a resort feel and found a nice, above average hotel.

The total package was o.k.
The security was poor, homeless people in the hot tube and the outside was just in the middle of a renovation project. Addi tonal fee for internet and wi-fi.

Nice base to visit the attractions in Orlando. Nice pool, fair rooms. Reasonable place to stay.

It was close to Universal.
This was not a 4 star hotel. I was told they had free shuttle to Halloween Horror nights, which was not true!

Hotel was close to Universal, but the shuttle I was told they had does not run at night for HHN and therefore I had to pay $10 each way (plus tip) for transportation. It is a 3 star. There is nothing fancy or upscale about this place. Also, my daughter asked for a blanket 2x and it never came. Finally she went down to the front desk and got one.

The bed was comfy.
Old and
dated. Definitely not a typical 4 star hotel.

Average at best. Old and dated looking. Employee service was at best, average.
