Hotel Guest Reviews of the Days Hotel Broadway New York

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Room was great except for the large tv armorie; more space would be available if the hotel would do a wall-mounting of the tv. It takes up too much space in the boxed armorie.

Elevators were very small and somewhat slow at times. Good location for accessing the Subway; several good eating spots nearby. Would definitely stay there again!

The room was very spacious and clean. The staff was MORE than accommodating.
The only thing I didn't like about the hotel is the fact that using the business center computers and printer, you had to pay. And the charges were too high considering that it was $2 for only 8 minutes of use. Most hotels don't charge for this.

The hotel is very nice with nice & clean rooms, friendly staff and a good location. It is only 1 block to the 96th street Subway terminal which runs the 1,2,3 train which will get you to most areas in the city, or at least a good start to where you need to go without several transfers. There are excellent restaurants within walking distance. The Corner Café across the street has the best coffee & muffins/pastries ever and is convenient for breakfast, lunch or even a late snack. Right next door is Duane Reed where you can purchase any necessary items you may need that you left at home. They even have food items. It's located in the upper westside and is a very nice area of the city! Loved the hotel, staff, and location. Felt very safe. ...read more

Good Upper West Side location very close to the subway.
Hotel was old, carpeting needed to be replaced, mattress was very lumpy and well past its prime.

Paid WAY too much on priceline (XXX/night + fees) for this, but given the weekend I had no other options). Staff was nice enough, and the location was very close to the metro, so getting around the city was easy. Just an old hotel in need of some TLC.

Checkin was very efficient. The taxi availability was excellent, the allnight deli across the street was great quick healthy food. The Tandoori restaurant across the street was an excellent meal! Subway access right outside.
The elevator was very slow, waited a lot. The bathtub shower controls were a bit confusing. I was on 7th floor, there was traffic noise all night, like everywhere else in NYC I suppose.

My expectations were low given the price and star rating, but it was an average hotel room. Checkin good, maid service good, comfy bed, good TV, had everything I needed like ironing board, blow dryer, coffee perker, etc. Other than slow elevator, nothing negative.

Nothing, it is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. It is filthy, everything is broken, even elevators. Rooms smell, carpets are filthy, bedspreads are filthy, this place was beyond disgusting.

Don't stay here. Everything about this hotel is bad. The rooms are filthy, the carpets are disgusting, the rooms smell, the elevators are broken - they take forever and then some of the buttons don't work. The room locks break and lock you out regularly. There is nothing good to say about this hotel. This is by far the dirtiest, most disgusting, worst hotel I ever stayed in. They make Motel 6 look like the Ritz Carlton. ...read more
