Days Hotel - Thunderbird Beach Resort

OK. lets say i do like your hotel but for short vac. only for
long stay i will go to hotel with live music in evening time .with better breakfast.and nice painted rooms.

Excellent location, good manager, but poor service.

Way way over price and very bad room.

The hotel should be up dated or ripped down!

Not a pleasant stay. if your looking to just find a bed this may be your place.

We slept very comfortable and it was a good price for the location.

For that money, I could have stayed at a hotel that did not smell mouldy and that had decor that had been upgraded more recently than 40 years ago. On the plus side, there was a free continental breakfast at the diner in the hotel, which was retro and fine. I liked that the hotel had mid-century charm and was not one of the monstrosities that has overtaken Collins Avenue, but they need to get a business loan and upgrade their facilities. There was also a $5 charge to use the business facilities, so I could not print out my boarding pass the night before my flight, because I did not need the additional charge. This hotel has seen better days, old and outdated, Pool and Hot Tub were out of commission for the duration of our trip. Rooms were marginal. Pent House was disgusting. Restaurant smelled of oil frying oil and dirty beer. Recent rehab was done poorly, paint and bath tub refinishing was peeling.

There is nothing good to say other than convenient location.

The last time we stayed there we got a great room with an awesome view, but this time we got an OK room and a lousy view. We always book with priceline at least 6 weeks before hand but I guess that doesn't matter
