Hotel Guest Reviews of the Days Inn And Suites Trinidad
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.June 11, 2013

Beware that this is not a three-star hotel as advertised. You can put lipstick on a pig but when it comes down to it it's still a pig. You can tell that the owners have made an attempt to upgrade the property but it is still lacking for the 3 star rating it has been given

Missed the Exit, so we had to double back on the Frontage road. It sits a little back behind the hill. But we got there. The front desk girl was very polite and probably saw that we were two Sisters and needed to be close to the office, so she gave us a room that was right across from the office. We appreciated that. Rooms were clean and comfortable and the Hot breakfast was excellent. Was only going to spend one night, but decided to stay another night. We would definitely stay there again. Thank you for make our stay a fun time. ...

I was initially hopeful that this hotel would be okay because it said it had been a Best Western before just becoming a Days Inn, but now I'm thinking they were probably not living up to Best Western standards (we stayed in a Best Western in Roswell that was phenomenal) and would have had to fix things to keep it a Best Western, because this hotel was not very great and was definitely overpriced for the quality level. I took my shoes off immediately and regretted it as the doorway was really wet for some unknown reason. The rest of the room was fine, just nothing fancy at all. Breakfast in the morning was pretty poor - eggs weren't very good at all. Sausage was the only good thing. Bathroom seemed kind of sketchy. Wouldn't stay there again. ...

This was a Best Western motel just a few weeks before I arrived. The sign was too low to be seen from the freeway,; plus, the sign was made from canvas. I had to turn around and come back. Their sign only faced south; so, I missed the turn. All entries to the rooms are exposed to the elements. During the winter, this will be an issue. The property experienced a water pipe leak the day I arrived. The staff put me about50 yards away; but, I could still hear the construction. ...

I was a little disappointed because I have stayed in nicer two star hotels and I specifically payed the extra for three star this time because I wanted something nicer for our anniversary.
