Hotel Guest Reviews of the Days Inn And Suites Youngstown/Girard Ohio
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.April 13, 2013

A positive note about this hotel was that there were hot items on the breakfast - eggs, a meat, and waffles in addition to the normal pastries and cereals. Denny's, Bob Evans, Ihop and Perkins are all in easy driving distance, though. For the price, I would probably stay in this hotel again, but don't expect high comfort.

swimming pool was extremely warm while hot tub/spa was not. hotel is in very good location. close proximity to almost anything you'd want to be around in Girard. Also very easy to get to.

We were able to afford this hotel, but had to drop our standards in order for our bid to be accepted. We knew that it was a 1-2 star property so in light of this, I should not have been surprised that the hotel did not have the amenities one could expect in a 4-5 star hotel.

needs scrubbed.
I really liked the room's window opened so we could smoke in the room, the air conditioner worked good, chairs and table very comfortable, nice breakfast. WiFi did not connect per directions to hit accept button, but I didn't want to take the time to call the network to connect, I just wanted to relax. Was glad frig was already turned on. Very quiet despite right by expressway and quiet in the day as the buildings blocked the local street traffic. I liked that the maid gave us 3 pkgs of coffee as we used them. Wanted Ice when we left to fill our water cups, but lobby machine was empty. I heard it filling when arrived. ...

This hotel is badly in need of some upgrades. The rooms have not been re-done since the 80s. Although we got a non-smoking room, their was still the odor of stale tobacco.

The hotel staff was incredibly rude. We booked a hot tub suite about 3 months prior to our wedding. We did not have a jacuzzi in our room at check in. We spoke to the woman at the desk who told us that we did not pay enough for a jacuzzi room, after telling us that it didn't show her how much we had paid. She refused to do anything about the matter and showed no sign of actually caring about the error. The room was basic. There was mold on the ceiling of the bathroom. ...

Older hotel. Room had a smoke smell, even though it was a non-smoking room. Room was extremely small. TV old and not a clear reception. Air not very cool. Pillows were very cheap and flimsy. I booked a room with two queen beds, got one with one king. The hotel staff was great. Breakfast was okay. Juice was old and tasted bad.
