Hotel Guest Reviews of the Days Inn Chicago

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Great location and surprisingly spacious rooms.

Not in downtown but very close via public transportation. Staff was very helpful with giving directions.

Very clean, staff was very helpful and prompt to help you. The motel was sort of crammed in there but no one could help that, its chicago!

Great staff. Friendly and very helpful. proximity to local train station was a major bonus. Nice neighborhood with great food within walking distance.
Bathroom desperately needed a ventilation fan, not necessarily for odors but for humidity.

Had a great experience here. Nice rooms especially for the rate. If you're looking to save money over a downtown hotel but still want the Chicago experience this is the way to go. Park your car and take the el into downtown. Lincoln Park with its wonderful zoo (free!) is only a 15 minute walk.

Although the hotel was not located right downtown, it was perfectly situated around some great restaurants and shops. The room quality exceeded my expectations for a 2 star hotel. I definitely thought it was at least a 3 star hotel. The staff was excellent. It was a fraction of the cost compared to other hotels and even though you're not right downtown you can get anywhere in a cab for about $10. It was my first time staying at this hotel, but it was definitely worth it and I would stay here again. ...read more

Great location in Lakeview/Lincoln Park.

This is a great hotel for people looking to spend time in northern Chicago area. It is located near a lot of fun and casual bars and restaurants. The rooms are a little on the small side, but they are very clean and the bathroom in our room looked very recently updated. The valet parking is very convenient.

Their free breakfast was all high-carbohydrate food (waffles, muffins, cereal, etc.) Nothing that low-carb people like me could eat. So I had to go to the McDonald's across the street (which has eggs and sausage).

The hotel is located on two major city bus routes (#22-Clark and #36-Broadway) which both go directly downtown (which is just three-and-a-half miles) for a one-way fare of just $2.25. This can save people a great deal of money compared to staying at a downtown hotel.

Great location and very clean room.
View of roof from our room. The breakfast was carb-heavy.

Great hotel for our family stay in Chicago.

The hotel was much nicer than I expected! I had a standard room with a double bed. Although the room was small, it was nice, clean, and comfortable. The bed was great, and the bathroom was fine. It's in a cute neighborhood, and Trader Joe's is nearby!
I liked everything about the hotel, and the complimentary breakfast was even good.

This place was a terrific value, and next time I am in Chicago, I will stay here again! I highly recommend this hotel if you need a place to sleep and relax and don't mind having a bit of a small room. The price is so good compared to other hotels, and it's definitely not a risk to stay at this place.
