Hotel Guest Reviews of the Days Inn Colorado City

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

I did not like one thing about this hotel. Everything promised was either filthy dirty or broken completely. The location was off by over 25 miles. The reviews were completely fabricated lies. The stench of body odor and bad Indian cooking was awful.
The filth, the nasty refrigerator no decent person would keep food in, the "breakfast" served in an odiforous lobby, the biscuits were so hard I couldn't chew them even after soaking them in what passed as cream gravy, the rude owner, the price...

The reviews are LIES obviously put on the internet by the owners. The lobby stinks to high heavens, the rooms are filthy including the bed covers (mystery stains), the door to the bathroom was so nasty I had to use one of the hard as sandpaper hand towles to get in and out of the bathroom. Anyone with sensitive skin would be injured by whatever starch they used to wash the towles with. The pool obviously has been out of order for years. There is no hottub as advertised. The breakfast was disgusting/inedible. The location was 45 miles from the collosium, not 20 miles as advertised so I wasted a lot of gasoline. After requesting a smoke free room the owner rudely told me I had requested smoking and I could take that or leave it. This is the worst hotle i've stayed in in over 25 years of travel. The owners should be ashamed to put up travelers in such nastiness. Whatever the filth level they may have been used to in their country of origin, they need to step up to standards of cleanliness in America. This hotel should be inspected and closed until they can make it sanitary! ...read more

Friendly, clean rooms, clean pool, good continental breakfast.
Areas that still need repair, pool area.

Generally, a good place to stay.

It was convenient for our purpose.
The room was overpriced for the quality.

It is an older motel that had not had any upgrades in some years. The room was clean except for a dirty washcloth that had been left hanging on the shower curtain rod. There was only one small bar of soap between the bath and lavatory.

Friendly

It was what
I expected for the area but definitely paid more than felt
I should have.

It was well maintained for the star level and the staff was friendly.
Overall, I was happy.

For the hotels in this area this one faired far better than most. On a scale of 1 to 10 based on other hotels in this region I give it a 9. The room was clean, the staff was friendly and courteous and the continental breakfast was what is expected.

Large room.
Out-dated.

This hotel was extremely outdated but we were given a large corner room, which was a plus.
