Hotel Guest Reviews of the Days Inn Forth Worth-Stockyards

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. let's just say you get what you pay for. I'd rather pay more just to feel more secure
Yes, I didn't know that the security door that is supposed to be locked at all times was open all the time, and that you could open my and several other doors with the tip of any key or similar item.

I mentioned my concern about the room being opened with the tip of any key to the manager. he did not seemed concerned at all. I would NOT recommend this motel even if it was free. I had to take my electronic items and leave them in the car while I was visiting the area. they were more secure in there than in the motel

I did not like this hotel. The price was great, too good to be true.
The staff was rude, the building is run down and in need of repairs and updating.

I was traveling with my daughter, and did not feel safe at this hotel. It is not well kept, though I didn't find the rooms to be really dirty or anything like that. The building does not look well kept, and the breakfast was mediocre at best. When I called needing towels, the ones they brought me were wet. I will not stay here again, regardless of the price.

The bed, having a working (sort of) refrigerator and having a little open space.

This hotel was not well maintained, did not provide the breakfast we were told about on the phone (no fruit, no waffles, just two cereals with the milk container left out on the counter to get warm), and did not have working Internet service. Although they said the Internet would be fixed in the morning, we were there for 5 nights and it never worked in our room. They told us different stories about why it didn't work. We had to ask for a second washcloth, and one time they forgot to bring a bathmat. They did not refill the empty Kleenex container, and it was clear that they never changed the sheets. The refrigerator barely worked. The baseboards had become detached from the bathroom floor/wall intersection, leaving holes. Water leaked constantly from the shower and could not be turned off. We would definitely not stay there again. ...read more

Room was old, paint was dingy, the towels were discolored.

The worst motel that I have stayed in.

The hotel name was misleading. The hotel was nowhere near the "Stockyards" as the name implied.

Leaving.
Everything.

It was on constant lockdown I assume for security; no one answered the phone on three separate occasions. The lobby was locked from the guest room area after 6 pm. It was NASTY unkept and evidently a hotel for truckers and long distance moving personnel to stay on the cheap. And it is not anywhere near the Stockkyards, which as a Fiftenn dollar cab ride away.

Rooms were comfortable and spacious with good bedding. Everything functioned in an acceptable way.
The Breakfast was limited both in food options and space. Be very careful of entrance from the main street to side street as there is a huge dip.

The Hotel was very adequate and met our needs. It's location was optimal for our personal plans and we expect to stay there in the future. We would not consider the surrounding area a very attractive part of town, but we were not fearful of problems.

The hotel was clean.
It was not in a good location as far as easy to get to.
