Hotel Guest Reviews of the Days Inn Huntington
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.April 25, 2013

The hotel is located right in the middle of Huntington, but the staff is a little lazy- we stayed for a few days and several times the beds were not remade and new towels were not given.

Had I paid the regular rate at this hotel, I would have been very angry. We paid about $25 less than their regular rate. This hotel is in an OK section of town (not the greatest). It is hard to get into the lot, which adjoins a Red Roof Inn. Our room was on the ground floor, (outside entrances) which we liked. When we got in the room, it was FREEZING, so we turned on the heat. Within half an hour, it was HOT in the room, and turning it down didn't help. We ended up turning it off and on all night. There was a HUGE dead mosquito behind the door (which tells me the room wasn't cleaned very well!). The bathroom was surprisingly clean, but was missing the light fixture - you could look up and see all the gross stuff in the ceiling area. The beds were very low and were not at all comfortable. The continental breakfast was fine - they had donuts, bagels, toaster waffles and pancakes, coffee, juice, yogurt and fruit. The juice was WAY watered down - more like flavored water. Overall, wasn't a great hotel - we've stayed at MUCH nicer hotels for the same price. ...

For the price, hard to beat. No real complaints. Breakfast was below average, but on par with expectations for a hotel in this level. Everything else was better than I expected for what I paid for the room.

Hotel staff unpleasant. Clean cheap rooms. Bed uncomfortable. Room above us flooded so after switching rooms the new room had no hot water the rest of the stay.

We think this is a decent place to stay and a good value for the price. The staff were friendly and nice.
