Hotel Guest Reviews of the Days Inn Huntington

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Staff did not speak english very well.
Both days house keeping knocked on our door with the do not disturb sign on the handle.

Door keys somewhat difficult to unlock on first few tries. House keeping totally ignored do not disturb signs. Front desk clerk did not speak english very well.

It was fairly cheap and close to where we needed to stay
The room was circa 70's, the bed was uncomforable and really low, the room looked 'unready' for guests

Had I paid the regular rate at this hotel, I would have been very angry. We paid about $25 less than their regular rate. This hotel is in an OK section of town (not the greatest). It is hard to get into the lot, which adjoins a Red Roof Inn. Our room was on the ground floor, (outside entrances) which we liked. When we got in the room, it was FREEZING, so we turned on the heat. Within half an hour, it was HOT in the room, and turning it down didn't help. We ended up turning it off and on all night. There was a HUGE dead mosquito behind the door (which tells me the room wasn't cleaned very well!). The bathroom was surprisingly clean, but was missing the light fixture - you could look up and see all the gross stuff in the ceiling area. The beds were very low and were not at all comfortable. The continental breakfast was fine - they had donuts, bagels, toaster waffles and pancakes, coffee, juice, yogurt and fruit. The juice was WAY watered down - more like flavored water. Overall, wasn't a great hotel - we've stayed at MUCH nicer hotels for the same price. ...read more

Huge rooms for the price. Comfortable beds and very friendly staff.
Most of the hotel was booked with local electric workers. No big deal except when they started backing their large work trucks out at 5 am - lots of "reverse warning" beeping.

For the price, hard to beat. No real complaints. Breakfast was below average, but on par with expectations for a hotel in this level. Everything else was better than I expected for what I paid for the room.

Hotel staff were nice. Parking was easy. Room had a coffee maker.
We were put on the second floor and only one set of steps in the middle of the hotel led to the second floor. The bed was hard.

The hotel was kinda old and may need some updates. Check-out time is 11:00 a.m. This was a pleasure stay and we would like to have slept in a later. We feel like that its really not a big deal, to get us out by 11 a.m. When they could just as well allowed us to stay till 12 a.m.
However, we got an hour earlier start on our day so that was good.

It was right off the interstate.
Very noisy. Cigarette smoke permeates into the room.Run down staff not accommodating.

This hotel is very run down and noisy. We paid less money for much better rooms. This was not a bargain.
