Hotel Guest Reviews of the Days Inn Madisonville
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.April 12, 2013

The hotel was not clean & smelled, breakfast wasn't good either. They ran out of coffee in the breakfast room
and after telling the three people at the front desk it was ten minutes before anyone came to make more. We left a day early just because of the hotel.

The hotel allows smoking in its facility. The section I was placed, I could smell the smoke heavily and I don't smoke. Then I was moved downstairs where I smelled. The front desk staff asked whether my reservation was made online and that was the reason I was placed where I was placed. I didn't like that at all.

The hotel staff was friendly. They accepted pets, wich is a major plus for my family. The hotel had plenty of outdoor grounds so my dog could walk around and take care of business. I enjoyed the stay. It was relatively quiet considering where we requested to be nect to the entrance due to having the dog. The bathroom could have used some cleaning or just some plain updating. The bathrooms werent really dirty it just had some dirt in the grout which is normal for an older hotel. But I dont think this hotel was that old. Overall it was a pleasant stay...nothing to call home about though. PS. Beds were comfy ...

Not only could the hotel staff not handle a simple check in for two people with the same name, they let one stay for free and charged me for the idiotic mistake. I still haven't gotten the extra charge off and am simply beyond annoyed at the whole situation.

It is a reasonable expectation to have a place to stay. It certainly is not a place that I would look forward to visit again unless under business circumstances and no other choice.
