Location was exactly what we were looking for - close to restaurants and main thoroughfare. Room accommodations were ok.
Check-in was slow. Could not tune into HBO as advertised in room and unable to get front desk to answer phone for help. Exercise room is a treadmill and a stationary bike. Complimentary breakfast had very few choices.

The location was great. Easily accessible to major highways. The room was as expected for a 2 star hotel.
The only thing I didn't care for was the breakfast. Compared to other 2 star hotels, I felt it was average. I realize it was a 2 star hotel, so I didn't expect much....just know I get better options elsewhere for the same or a lesser price.

I booked this hotel naming my price on priceline because it had increased from the original price in the one hour I was checking out the local hotels. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. I would definitely recommend this place to friends.

Smelled good,clean,friendly service,and right on the Hudson River.
I wished the pool was functional.

The best Days Inn I have ever been to.It was not depressing like most of the others.It was real clean and in a great location on the Hudson. It felt like a safe place to be. They really need to get the pool functioning though.

Great spot, I was visiting a friend so it was real close to them, no real amenities however room was clean and hotel was central to restaurants and walmart. I have stayed here 3 times,

location was good. room had some left over garbage found hidden in bed sheets
The pool was unexpectantly closed. This is why we choose this hotel. it was for the indoor pool supposedly all year round pool

we were looking forward to the pool but it was closed for some reason.

THERE WAS A HUGE SNOW STORM THAT NIGHT AND WE WERE NOT ABLE TO ARRIVE THERE. I TRIED TO CALL PRICELINE AND SEE IF WE COULD HAVE A REFUND BUT I WAS NOT ABLE TO GET THROUGH.

The front desk woman was super helpful. Priceline apparently botched my reservation and had me down for a smoking room. Kill me now. She verified the room details and then was so nice about getting me into a non-smoking room w/ a single, queen bed.

A big pro for me was that the hotel was not too far off of I-87 so it was an easy stop on my trip. The front-desk staff was very helpful and welcoming. Wifi was free. Bed was very comfortable. While in New Windsor, I used Yelp to find the QQ Asian Bistro and had delicious sushi! Can't imagine I'll be in New Windor, NY ever again, but between the hotel and the restaurant it was a great pit stop. ...read more

The location was convenient (right next to Walmart, plenty of dining and delivery services nearby), and for the most part appeared clean. The few staff members we encountered over the holiday were friendly and professional.
The continental breakfast was pitiful, the mattresses were in poor condition, and the room had a funny smell although after a few minutes in the room we got used to it.

For the price, we will choose somewhere else for our next stay in this area. The mattresses felt as if they've been there since the hotel opened, and the continental breakfast was awful. There weren't even bagels; I might have been satisfied by my english muffin had the cream cheese at least been provided in individual servings and not a communal block sitting on the counter in a rubbermaid container. I resorted to making plain oatmeal but there was absolutely nothing to put on it aside from milk :(. The dinner in front of the hotel does give a 10% discount with your room key.
