Hotel Guest Reviews of the Days Inn Oceanside
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.May 10, 2013

I am a frequent customer of Priceline. I have booked many trips and have been very satisfied, until now. I frequent Miami Beach so the location of the Hotel was great, but the hotel rooms were not up to pricelines standards. The rooms smelled of mold. When we arrived at the hotelwe asked if there was a balcony available. We were told no. As we observed the next people checking in, they were given a balcony, to their surprise! Needless to say we spent as much time away from the room as possible. ...

Indicative of the general room aura, they had the same tropical animal poster above each bed. The hotel room was not nice, but it was livable. The beach was great. There is not a lot to walk to from 43rd street, as far as restaurants, but it is easy to grab a cab south. And there is a walgreens w/i a five minute walk. Don't stay here if you're looking for a romantic getaway, but certainly acceptable for, say, spring break. ...

It is an old hotel but well maintained. It's lobby area is fairly large and friendly. Common areas and pool are are clean and well mantained with some minor construction improvements being made. The room itself was fine. Wifi worked well throught the hotel and even in our room at the farthest end of the property. Their 24 hour free coffee was made fresh all the time with condiments well stocked all dayIf you are expecting a very nice modern hotel this is not it. If you are seeking a clean hotel directly on the beach at a fair price and in a good mid South Beach area then this hotel is fine ...

The location - close to Liv- was the only positive about this hotel. Purchased an "ocean view" and was not informed that I would not receive this even once I checked into the hotel. Many others were also complaining. The room had just been painted and the smell was almost unbearable. I ordered a small bed (cot) and when it was delivered it was not opened or assembled I had to do it on my own - removing plastic wrapping, etc. Once I went to complain to the front desk about all of this, I was told to call back on a week day because there was no manager working on the weekends and no one I could even call. All they said they could do for me was include a free breakfast buffet which turned out to be disgusting. It was a horrible experience. ...
