Hotel Guest Reviews of the Days Inn Port Jervis

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The hotel did have friendly staff. The room was clean and put together with towels and amenities that were expected. The continental breakfast was good and fresh. There wasn't a ton of choices, but what was there was good.
The only things I wasn't happy with was that you paid less for a smoking room so I had to settle for one even though my boyfriend and I are non-smokers. It could use some updating in appearance but it was still nice. Maybe a few more choices for breakfast

The hotel itself was overall nice. I would recommend this to people who are on a budget, but still want a clean and friendly place to stay. We never had a problem with noise or being bothered by anyone. It is close to the highway and there are gas stations and a few places to eat in close proximity. The staff was easy going and polite. They were professional and took good care of us. I will use this hotel again if I need to come back to this particular area. :) ...read more

Friendly quick check-in, check-out.
The continental breakfast was pretty lame. Little Debbie chocolate rolls for breakfast?

The hotel was pretty much what it was advertised to be, a room and a bed. Breakfast was very lacking in choices - if you like starches, it's just OK. Anything else is non-existent. The room fridge had been unplugged, so was warm. Unfortunately it was also very moldy inside, so I didn't even want to put a yogurt inside The "Brewing Company" associated with it was closed when we checked in at 9:30 on Thursday. Nothing within walking distance of this hotel after dark, as it is on a quite long pipe-stem.

Nothing really.
First room given to me was occupied when
I entered. Second room was filthy and full of spiders.

I
was given my room and when
I opened the door someone else was staying in it. They gave me another room which was filthy. It was covered in cobwebs and there was at least ten spiders hanging from the ceiling. When
I asked for it cleaned they sent a guy that seemed to be bothered by doing his job of cleaning. He came up to the room with a broom and tried to kill some spiders. He was fairly unsuccessful and the room was still covered in cobwebs. ...read more

It accepted my price, and was in the location I needed. Bed was comfortable.
Room and carpets were worn and drab.

location only
run down,cheap

Party went on next door, called twice to complain, asked to change rooms. Told no more rooms available, but finally they did change the room next door. Beds were very uncomfortable, woke up with a stiff neck, and smelled like smoke, after being told it was a non smoking room.
