Welcome to the Deauville Beach Resort
The oceanfront pool, 700 feet of white-sand beach and stylish rooms with free Wi-Fi make the smoke-free Deauville Beach Resort a solid choice among Priceline guests (yeah, yeah, yeah).
One of Miami Beach's grande dames, the Deauville was built in 1957 in MiMo (Miami Modern) architectural style. Here's some trivia: The Beatles performed on the Ed Sullivan Show right from this hotel's ballroom, so be sure to walk in and catch the vibe. The resort's 484 rooms are situated in 15 floors, and come with complimentary Wi-Fi. Many of the rooms feature balconies with views of the bay or ocean, and compact fridges are available upon request. You won't miss your favorite program, since rooms have premium cable TV. Practice your backstroke, or maybe your dog paddle, in the resort's massive ocean-facing freshwater pool, a Miami Beach landmark. A spa tub and tiki bar are adjacent, and the resort offers lap swim times each morning. The hotel's stretch of white-sand beachfront and turquoise Atlantic Ocean awaits your sunning and swimming pleasure. Beach and pool towels and lounge chairs are free of charge, and water and beach sports equipment are available on the beach for rental. The resort has a fitness center with aerobics, spinning, and belly dancing classes (surcharges). Also on-site are an Italian restaurant, lobby bar, jazz club, and magic and comedy show. Valet parking is available for a surcharge.
The oceanfront Deauville is in the North Beach section of Miami Beach, five miles north of the South Beach Art Deco District and its nightlife. Shopping fans can head to Bal Harbour Shops, three miles north of the resort.
A mammoth pool and a massive beach never fail to satisfy Priceline guests at this Miami Beach landmark with a family-friendly vibe.

Beautiful view and beach. However, I got stuck in the elevator between the 7th and 8th floor and they didn't do anything! The staff was rude and wouldn't answer my questions or concerns and all I did was smile and try to be positive-but the manager was nice. The lower level floor smelled intensely like Mold aka cat smell and it was so bad we couldn't eat at the cafe. The room was beautiful. ...

Great location; Good ocean views; bad service and bad room.

The resort fee is a rip off. It adds $20 to whatever rate you pay and this place isn't really a resort. It's a hotel. I would have paid a higher rate at a hotel closer to Sun Life Stadium had I known about the resort fee. The cab fare would have been significantly less and more than made up for the $20 difference. The location is great if you want to be on the beach. I didn't go into the pool, but I wouldn't have wanted to either. It looked dirty and the water level was very low. The room was ok, but nothing great. It's kind of weird to have a folding chair in the shower. The $30 parking fee is also pretty high considering you have to park your own car a block away. I won't be going back to this place. ...

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, ever. Very disappointing on every level. It is out of the way, front desk staff is not helpful, there are problems with the rooms (no hot water) and there are mandatory hidden fees at check out. When I asked to speak to a manager I was told there was no one in yet. That was when we checked out at 10am. Overall just a crappy experience. ...

The Deauville was once a great hotel. In it's heyday it was host to the Beatles during their performances on the Ed Sullivan Show in the 60's. The Lobby area still holds a lot of charm, but the rooms and other public areas have seen better days. Given it's history I was hoping for a bit more. We stayed for 4 days. The cleaning staff short-changed us towels on a daily basis, and on the final day, did not leave us any coffee. There is a $15.00 a day resort fee to get use of beach towels and lounge chairs and coffee in your room. The pool needs a coat of paint (as does a lot of the place), the bottom is stained. Be warned, there is no parking onsite, but there is a public parking lot just a 5 minute walk from the hotel. From 8 am to 6 pm it's $1.00 an hour, after 6 pm to 8 am it's free. The saving grace of the place is the proximity to the beach. ...
