Couple
Had a very enjoyable stay at the Delta. First time being in Banff, we didnt really know what to expect but all-in-all a great experience. Complimentary upgrade to a King suite w/ fireplace as there were not many people staying there during our stay (mid-week in the 1st week of June). Very friendly staff and overall a great experience. Would consider going back.

This hotel staff is excellent in providing good tips to the best hikes around town. They also offer free bikes during the biking months which is great if you don't want to spend money on rentals!

Family Traveling with Young Children
Even though, there was so much construction and the hotel was empty they made us pay to upgrade our room.
We were not aware that the hotel was under construction, and considering this nuisance. Eye sore and noise. Even though, there was so much construction and the hotel was empty they made us pay to upgrade our room (which was also a disappointment because the fireplace was very dated and not worth the extra money).

Business Traveler
As a Hilton Diamond member for the past 7 years, I thought this would be on par with most of the Hilton's I have stayed at. Upon entry of the room, the carpet and furniture was worn. The view of the backyard of a run-down house was not very pleasant. Not an inviting first impression. However, the bathroom had been updated and had a separate shower and sink area which was very nice. I know that Delta is fairly large chain in Canada, so I was expecting much better. Unfortunately, I probably would not recommend this to friends/family nor would I stay in a Delta property again.
