Was greeted by a wonderful staff upon check-in. I especially like the warm cookie that they give you when you arrive.
Although the rooms looked great and clean, the bathroom chrome had the green water stains that hard water tends to leave. We do not have hard water in Alaska, so I'm not sure if it is something that can be remedied easily or not. It did lower my rating.

Be sure to use your GPS in finding the hotel. It's kind of round about getting onto the frontage road when coming in from the west. Otherwise, it was great. I was especially happy that they had a shuttle running to the airport every 20 minutes.

Worn out hotel. Rust stains around the drain in the bathtub. Frayed carpets. Noise and light coming into my room from the lobby. Took a long time to get hot water from the shower. This is not what I expected from a 3-star hotel listed on priceline.

The best part was the call from Housekeeping when I thought I left my watch in the room. I had to call three times before they returned my call. Finally one employee was very nice and looked in the room. The other nice thing was the shuttle driver.
The hotel was a disaster. It was under construction, the rooms were dirty and clearly not updated. This was no better than a 1.5 star property. The front desk at check in was rude and understaffed. The onsite restaurant was closed.

Don't stay at the Doubletree at Newark Airport. For a Hilton brand it was incredibly run down.

Uneventful stay with very helpful staff. Let us store luggage to expediate our departure early in the am.
The shuttle to the airport does not drop off at the different terminals, but this is probably due to airport regulation, but this is are first experience with this. We took an expensive taxi the next morning directly to our departing terminal.

Great hotel, good restaurant. One should know about not being dropped off at your terminal.

The hotel was lovely and the bed was the most comfortable I have slept in-in weeks! Everyone was very friendly and made me feel very comfortable. When I shared with the staff that I had been up all night due to noisy teens, I was given a free breakfast!
There was a very noisy group of High School students running about- unsupervised- at all hours of the night. I had just finished a trans Atlantic flight and needed to sleep. No one did anything to quiet the kids. It was a rough evening.

Great location for airport travel. Price was fantastic for such a posh hotel. easy to find- shuttle was convenient- staff was friendly and helpful.

Room was fine, staff very friendly.
Paid parking. I've stayed in many similar quality hotels in this area and this is the only one that has charged me for parking. Twice.Same with WIFI. Everyone else is free that I've stayed with except this property.

Paid parking and paid WIFI.Will not use Priceline in Newark again if this property is a possible bid 'winner'.

Room was very large and comfortable. Room was clean and had a well stocked coffee/tea center. Staff was very helpful and friendly.
Free wi-fi only in the lobby. A lot of noise travelling from adjacent rooms, walls are a little thin, making it difficult to sleep at night.

Great place to overnight near Newark. The shuttle was very prompt and convenient to the airport. Rooms were clean and very large.
