Hotel Guest Reviews of the Doubletree Chicago Alsip
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.June 10, 2013

They said it was by midway, only to find out it was 30 minutes away! The rooms all smelled like smoke and mold. There was nowhere to eat besides their horrible restaurant. The lady at the front desk told me that we could walk 25 minutes to some food but would not recommend it because there were no sidewalks. I AM SO UPSET, I want my money back.

I recently stay at the doubletree hotel in Alsip, Illinois. After checking in i notice a foul smell in the room and it smell like fetus and mildew . I contacted the front desk and I was informed the hotel was sold and they had recently had a flood, so basically they could not do anything. So I left and I had to make another reservation and stay at another hotel because the smell was making me sick. I am a Hilton honor member and I have never had this type of service from Hilton. this is unaccetable for a prepaid hotel. ...

This is a fabulous vacation hotel, but for business purposes unless you bring all of your own support materials with you, do not depend on the hotel business center for help with your presentations, etc. There is no color printer and the other machines are not always functional (see above review).
