Doubletree Grand Key Resort

Beautiful hotel with wonderful staff! The outside pool area is lush and like an oasis. I enjoyed the warm cookies at check in and the poolside bar. Loved the fact they have a beachy area right next to the pool filled with sand to sink your toes into. The hotels shuttle service is expedient, timely, and convenient. We will definitely stay at this hotel again!!!

Hotel is lovely, a very tropical feel. Although a bit far from the scene downtown, they offer a shuttle that will take you to Duval Street, Smather's Beach and the Southern Most Point. Shuttle runs until 11:25 PM, so you really have easy access from the hotel to all of these locations all day, which saves on taxi fare. Taxi's from Duval run about $16 plus tip, so if you can avoid taking taxi's it helps your wallet. The staff is top notch, helpful, resouceful and make you feel like you are the only one in the hotel. They offer a wonderful buffet breakfast(at an additional cost), but also have a regualar menu to choose from, plus daily breakfast and lunch specials. Afternoon they have ice cold fruit water in the lobby for a nice refreshing treat. They can also arrange for you to rent a bike for the day or the week, your choice, the service will happily bring the bike to the hotel and pick up when you are finished. If you want to go to one of the beach's they will also provide you with beach towels to take with you, one less thing to have to worry about. We really enjoyed the hotel and wish we had booked a room there for a couple more days. We would definitely go there again.

The hotel is very nice. Beds were very comfy and overall the hotel was nice and quiet. They provide shuttle service to the Duvall Street area every hour and will make an extra trip if needed on busy weekends. Shuttled us to our dinner restaurant which was great! Very pleasant staff!

Given a best deal its worth every penny.10 min ride to Duval st;complimented by a free shuttle every hour. Overall fair experience.

hotel has shuttle bus to downtown but once per hour. This is probably good for families who plan to stay mainly at hotel and relax.

The staff was mixed in its hospitality. When we checked in they were very helpful, and the courtesy shuttle drivers were also very nice (the shuttle was very much appreciated, since the hotel is nowhere near Duval Street). The room was nothing special.
