Hotel Guest Reviews of the Doubletree Historic Savannah

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

We valeted the car the day we arrived and walked everywhere!!
The room did not have a safe to store valuables.

We loved walking and shopping on River Street! The Cobblestone Cafe was our favorite restaurant! The service was excellent and the food was delicious! The Crab Benedict was heavenly!

The staff was amazing.

Other than forced $18 valet parking the hotel was great. It was clean and the staff was incredibly friendly. We will stay here again!

The amazing location of the double tree, as well as the king sized bed with the pillowtop mattress
Because we booked our stay through priceline, the staff was less than helpful at times.

The location was perfect, and the staff was outstanding. Although we had to pay extra for valet parking, it was worth it to have somewhere to park where we didn't worry about our car. We walked everywhere we went! The cookies at check-in were divine!
Parking costs extra

This hotel is one block off river street, and only a couple of blocks from City Market. We only stayed one night, but found plenty to do within walking distance. The room was clean and comfortable. The free coffee in the lobby was a Godsend when we arrived.

Location - so close to Market square for New Years Eve as well as an excellent room. All staff were very helpful in suggestions for tours, etc., etc.
The gym might've been a little better equipped, but for the size, it was OK.

Above comments pretty much reflect our "review"

Very comfortable, clean and secure. Great location in North Historic District, one block to River Street
Parking was a bit expensive.

Very nice place for the price, but if you are driving in, plan on an extra $18/day for parking, which is Valet and very efficient and convenient, but ups the rate by the charge.

Location was excellent. Close to attractions.
Would have preferred self parking in lieu of valet, which was very expensive.

The hotel was very easy to find, and was a short walk to the river front, historical district, and gift shops. A very good place for a weekend getaway or short stop on a trip.
