Nice location. Close to my conference which was held on Conference Ctr.
Well-worn...no comparison to hotel we stayed at in Indy this week.

Close to Universal. Very family friendly. Restaurants are lacking and food is expensive. Pool good. Rooms very worn.

The staff was very helpful. The hot tub was very big and very nice. Excellent breakfast Buffet. Location. 20 minute walk to Universal.
Our rooms smelled like smoke. The maid staff need to do a little bit better job on cleaning the rooms.

When we arrived, our rooms smelled of smoke, even though the hotel is a no-smoking hotel. The front desk was very helpful and resolved the situation. I believe there are 15 floors. Parking will run you around $10 per night. Your room key will give you access to the lot in and out. If you are going to Universal and dont have a car - they offer a free shuttle service that runs at certain times in the morning from the hotel, up until 11:15am - and they will bring you back at certain times from the park - I forget the times from the park, sorry. You have to request this shuttle service and receive a pass to use it at the hotel desk, so just be aware of that. If you miss the shuttle, a cab is like $5 for a family of 4 (which we used a few times), or you could walk it, which is 20 or so minutes. Plenty of shops and restaurants around the hotel in walking distance. WIFI is free. They have a really nice business room / computer room with 4 large monitors for people to do work or just surf the web. Pool is huge, but the towels they supply down by the pool are like childrens towels.. - There is a very spacious hot tub too. Both close at 11pm (strictly). I was told by an employee, sometime after 11pm, chlorine is released into the pool and hot tub, so they really need to make sure everyone is out by that time. The breakfast buffet is excellent. Price is a little under $20 per person (not including tip), however it is really worth a try at least once. Beds are comfortable, but I felt the pillows were too soft. The bathrooms are spacious, but we experience a lack of hot water a few times. Good hotel, but needs work on cleaning. I would recommend it too people, along with that warning. They do make the outside of the hotel beautiful. It's just the rooms could use more attention. The Orlando Int airport is about 20 minutes away too. ...read more

I liked the location the best. It was located just outside of Universal, which made it convenient.
I was very dissatisfied with the service I received as well as the cleanliness of the hotel.

While the location and price of the hotel was a good value, I would never stay at this hotel again. When I stepped off the elevator that my room was located on it smelled like cigarettes and was extremely musty. I reserved a non smoking room. I attempted to go into my room however the key card would not work. There are two towers of the hotel, so I thought I might have gone to the wrong tower, so I made my way to the second tower to find that my room was not on that side of the hotel. I returned to the lobby and let the woman at the front desk know that my key didn't work and I would like to request another hotel room due to the unpleasant smell. I explained that I had gone to both towers to check for my room. The woman proceeded to argue with me that I had gone to the incorrect tower even though I explained that I went to the correct tower to begin with. She then said she fixed the card and tried to send me back to the original room. I again requested another room and floor altogether since she didn't seem to get the point previously. She then put me in another room which didn't have a king size bed and in the process she took 20 minutes to switch the room and had to get assistance from two other clerks. The lack of cleanliness of the hotel as well as the horrible customer service is why I will not be returning. I was also double billed for parking. Needless to say my experience wad anything but pleasant. ...read more

Room was very smelly. Shower heas was ready to fall off and was spraying water behind tile wall. Imsure that is creating mold

Hotle is right across xtreet from universal so if going to park it is a great location. Room was very smelly. Good thing e we only in it to sleep. For a double tree by hilton I wqs dissappointed.

Pool was much nicer than expected, close to a lot, and staff was helpful.
They were not ready for us at check-in time.

The staff was helpful
The room smelled very strongly like smoke, so we asked to switch rooms. They gave us a new room without a problem, but that room also smelled. We decided to deal with it, but it made our stay much less enjoyable.

The hotel is in a great spot if you are going to universal. There is a daily parking fee.

The biggest difference that impressed me was that the lady checking us in actually asked us if we would like to wait on a different room because there was a high school group staying on the floor we were orginally assigned to. That was wonderful of her!
nope

Easy walk across the street to Universal Studios. Slept great. HUGE ROOM!

Perfect location after a long day at Universal Studios.
Too bad there was not a later shuttle back to the hotel from the park. Since the park closed at 9, it would have been nice to have a later option for picking up the shuttle. The last one was at 8:10pm.

The location was the best. If we were not too tired, the walk from the park would have been fine. It was only $5 to take a cab. It was a fine room and the pool was nice. We arrived early to go to the park with the hopes of taking the shuttle and we were able to get into our room at 8:30 in the morning. It was great!
