Hotel Guest Reviews of the Doubletree Hotel Atlanta/Buckhead
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.December 5, 2012

This Doubletree was poor in many respects. I was initially housed in a room with a non-functioning shower. Subsequently, there was a significant security breach. After leaving my room locked, I returned hours later to find the door closed, but unlocked. My room certainly had been entered, because my bed had been changed, and there were fresh towels. Initially, I did not notice anything amiss; however, later, when
I checked for my back pack which
I had left in a closed area, it was missing, with its contents including my laptop. I also lost a pair of headphones which had been in jacket pocket and miscellaneous personal items. Although,
I reported immediately, knowing it likely that hotel staff had neglected to secure my room after cleaning, I was denied any relief by the Doubletree on the grounds that any items that i did not check directly with the hotel and leave in their care were my liability--not theirs! ...

Other than the telephone mishap in the room, the hotel itself is beautiful. The staff was great, cookies were good and rooms are nice...would most definitely stay there again.

This hotel is located in Buckhead not too far from Lennox square. The hotel needs to be updated. The room and common areas are worn down. The staff was nice enough. I could not get my sink to run hot water. This should be no more than a 2.5 star hotel until renovation.
