Hotel Guest Reviews of the Doubletree Hotel Atlanta/Buckhead
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.April 2, 2013

The staff was wonderful here. The hotel is in the center of everything and is less than a block from the marta. The hotel also has free shuttle service that will take you anywhere you need to go within a 3 mile radius. The property is newly remodeled.

The room is very aged, and you will feel like in a motel, the good thing is there was not heavy traffic and you have a quiet room, but when you see the bedding, at least, I cannot enjoy it.

According to the website check in was 3 pm. Rooms available after 3 pm. Got to the hotel at 3:15 pm and no room available. Please remember as I'm trying to check in I got the valet staff riding my tail about moving my vehicle. Tried to explain the situation and they didn't care. They told me to go park in the 15 minute parking which there were none! Well my family and I had were going to the Braves game which started at 4 pm so after a 6 hr drive we changed in the bathroom at the hotel and they talked us into leaving our suit cases there. Went to the game and came back around 7:45 and guess what? No rooms. They told me it would be 30 minutes. Go back out to my car and listen to the valet staff telling me I got 10 minutes to move my car or they will charge me $10. We finally just called Priceline and got a hotel about an hour away. Had to go back in the Double Tree and get our suitcases and pack them back into the car and leave. You can imagine what this was like w/ a 5 and 7 year old.
