It was clean and quiet
The dead bolt lock on our room did not work. I called the desk at bedtime and they never came to fix it. I called again and was told that there was only one guy. They never came. I slept with the latch closed and a chair in front of the door!!!
I was really unhappy that the door did not lock. They made no apology or anything. Security of guests should be top priority.

Clean rooms, comfortable beds, free parking, and a pleasant staff.
There was an loud noise that occurred throughout the night, It sounded almost like a jackhammer. Also, request not be put on the 9th, 10th or 11th floor If you are sensitive to cigaret smoke. Smoke doesn't stay put on the 10th floor.
Good place to stay, good staff, lots of nearby restaurants, free parking, And very close to the rapid transit.

Great location. A little difficult to locate the entrance initially, but once you get the layout in your mind it is easy to navigate.
The address is shown as N Central Expressway. When GPS arrives at address, there is no exit.
In a great upscale section od Dallas. There are a lot of great restaurants and clubs on adjacent Greenville St.

The hotel was listed as being near Love Field. In fact, it was a $25taxi ride from the airport...coming and going for our early a.m. flight.
I wish I knew it was no where near Love Field airport....where priceline listd it

Helpful, friendly staff. The location was perfect, close to everything that we wanted to see in Dallas.
The only improvement that Doubletree could make is free wifi.
Many, many local attractions. George W. Bush presidential library, SMU, Northpark Center, Many, many restaurants of all different types. Downtown is also close. The uptown area is definitely the best place to stay in Dallas!

Location. It was conveniently located to my university where I was attending a reunion.
Zero assistance available to help with luggage (we had a lot) plus no luggage cart available for us to "do it ourselves". We asked for help but none ever arrived so we finally had to schlep the luggage ourselves without a cart... a poor start to our stay.
Most "higher end" hotels have backed off the "nickel and diming" and started providing little extras a no charge ... but not here. They charge $4 for a small bottle of water, $10 for Wi-Fi, etc. This is not the way to build up a loyal customer base. I guess that they think that the "free" chocolate chip cookies makes up for this, but they are wrong.

Best bath towels ever! Size, thickness and soft.
I'm to the point that I expect every property to include a continental breakfast or better. They still want to sell an overpriced breakfast. Don't want a big meal, don't want the hassle. Just want fruit and cereal.
Great location for SMU or the mall. Easy on off hwy 75

I loved my stay. Beautiful decor, view out my window and employees. They were so helpful and kind. Perfect location for Shopping in the area.
The arm chair in my room was more than worn out. Just not ideal for sitting and relaxing.
Beautiful location. Beautiful hotel inside and out. Great location for shopping in the area. Had a Comedy Club and great room service.
