Hotel Guest Reviews of the Doubletree Hotel Richmond Airport
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.March 26, 2013

From previous reviews, I was expecting a real dump. I was surprised to see that my stay was alot nicer than I anticipated.

Dinning was very high considering the type food. Staff was great but the room was very out dated

Our room was roomy but there was almost puddled water in the living room area under the desk which led to a musty smell. The hotel must have known about the problem because the room next to ours had the door open and a fan running. Why give a room with that problem?

Extremely out dated, I guess teh hotel relies on the airport for all its business, and stays busy enough not to worry about it. It needs to be renovated, anytime I think of Hilton brand places, I think of nice. Not a dumpy stinky old hotel.

The hotel when you first come in the lobby looked very nice, staff was pleasant once you get to the elevator it goes down hill. The elevator was old and out dated. When I got in the room it was not close the usual 3 star rooms I have booked. I really felt like I was staying at a upscale Motel 6. The heat was loud , the tv was a old 27 inch. This hotel should be down graded to a upscale 21/2 star. The bathroom did not have no lighting hardly. The toilet was not flushed. It was by far the worse stay of any hotel I stayed in that I booked from Priceline. Did not get much sleep it was just terrible the negative reviews given by others was right on point. So I wish Priceline would take them off there bid list because up until now they have been good with hotels I have gotten from them. Just very in happy. ...

Perfect location for the airport, kind staff and great workout room. Room service made me exactly what I wanted for dinner even though it was not on the menu.

Shabby, not what I would expect from a Double Tree Inn and especially in Virginia where the hospitality is usually exceptional.

You guys should check it out before you represent it as a "3 star" hotel, or at least read Trip Advisor. It was a tired hotel. Noisy and vibrating air conditioning unit that I had to wedge a pen in to get it to stop buzzing, messy caulking in the bathroom, old popcorn ceilings, older tube TV's, musty, less than enthusiastic front desk. Stayed at a Hampton Inn the night before. Comparison between the two was night and day. ...

Great location. Access to anywhere in the city within 15 minutes. Plenary of places to eat around.
