Hotel Guest Reviews of the Doubletree Hotel Tampa Westshore Airport

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Helpful staff. Meeting room for conference very good & accomodation. Handling of lunch ok.
Noisy AC. Breakfast planning for conference could have been better. Better organization for lunch & breakfast lines needed. Hallways were a maze--maps confusing for many. None for higher floors.

Not much.
Theft from staff

We mistakenly left 2 rings on the sink in our room right before we left. We called the hotel from our taxi just moments after we left the hotel and we were assured that they would get the rings and mail them back to us. When they assured us they would send them, it put us at ease and we didn't feel it necessary to turn the taxi around to go back to the hotel. If we had known that someone was going to steal them, then we most certainly woudl have gone back to the hotel. To make matters worse, our follow-up calls to the hotel front desk and the housekeeping lost and found recording were never responded to. When we didn't receive the rings in the mail, we continuously called and tried to get someone to find out about it. Since we weren't local, these people knew we would never make it back down there to confront anyone about this theft. Nobody from the housekeeping department would ever call us back and the front desk or manager could have cared less to follow-up on it for us. Save yourself and stay somewhere else. ...read more

Didn't met my expectations, was nothing like the pictures, I've paid less for better rooms and someone charged a meal to my room from the hotel restaurant

I wouldn't recommend to anyone

Location
I was in a room which was dirty, several light bulbs were out and it was on the ground floor about 30 feet from a busy interstate, with a large volume of traffic noise.

If you have a choice, do NOT stay in this hotel. The Wyndham (accross the street) and Crowne Plaza are also classified three and a half stars in the same area and are way, way better options than this dump!!

The staff of this Hotel was very good, Julia at the front desk was very helpful
This Hotel is very tired, the light fixtures are all crooked, the hallways are old, the outside of the building needs refreshing, the parking deck has no elevator to access 5 floors, the pool was broken the whole time I was there,

this Hotel only deserves a 3 1/2 star rating due to its staff, the hotel is very tired and needs an update, the toilet in my room, wobbled on its base and the seat was loose, the pool is in disrepair and the parking deck has no elevator
