Hotel Guest Reviews of the Dublin City Inn Talbot Street
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.October 14, 2012

This hotel was perfect for our first visit to Dublin - a central location within easy walking distance to nearly every city attraction. The hotel staff were very welcoming and friendly,
while there wasn't parking space for us the first night. They directed us to a nearby lot with a discounted overnight rate of 5 Euro and then made sure to save a spot for us the next evening. The room was small but quite clean, and while our room overlooked the street below, we did not find it noisy as past reviewers might have. Overall, the staff and location and free wireless Internet and parking make this hotel well worth it's affordable price. ...

The room was very small, but it's what I expected from the description. There was some street noise from pub patrons. It was a humid summer day so we had to leave the window open which didn't help. The on-site parking was very convenient, but they only have a few spots. We had to park on the street when we first arrived but then a spot opened up later in the day. I chose the hotel for the low price and the location. I was very happy with our experience there, but if I were staying more than one night, I would probably try for something with more amenities. ...

Staff was ok and helpful when asked but did not go out of their way to assist. Room was very small but clean.

The room was a double measured about 8x8. The shower was standard, however had poor pressure. There is a TV, hot water pot, free WiFi. Exterior rooms are pretty noisy due to street activity. Good location, only 2 blocks from O'Connell Street. In our room, you could hear a dull drone which cycled on and off every second or so, probably due to an electrical transformer, slightly annoying. ...

friendly staff.
We loved it. We backpacked Europe staying in cheap hotels. This was the cheapest yet the nicest and greatest location. I would definitely stay there again!
