Hotel Guest Reviews of the East Houston Hotel

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The staff is amazing, and the location could not be better! Subway just around the corner and great restaurants near by!
The rooms are quite small, but after all is NYC

The rooms are small, but it's New York! The staff were all really friendly and helpful. They also have a roofdeck that has an incredible view. The location is right next to the subway which makes it really easy to get around. We'd stay there again!

I really enjoyed the layout and furnishings and then music in the lobby. The location was absolutely perfect, very close to subways, shopping the east village and broadway.
The tv only had about 5 random channels, I asked for late checkout and they claimed that they could only give me an hour longer, but check in for the next person wasn't until 3. When I unfolded my sheets there were hairs from previous guests.

Location was great, close to Chinatown, east village and in soho. If you're looking for an NYC experience then this is definitely a great choice. Everything is within 5-10 minutes walking and the Williamsburg bridge/Brooklyn is within a $15 can ride. Hotel staff was a bit less than accommodating, but they weren't rude. I would say acceptable. The rooftop terrace was absolutely beautiful at night, and a great plus. ...read more

location, cleanliness
small room

The whole place was nice and clean. 2 cons: the bathroom was separated from the bedroom by a glass wall, which prevents any privacy; the "included breakfast" was only coffee. Otherwise, we really enjoyed it, the room was very clean, the hotel well located and the staff helpful.

Location location location. Clean, modern, comfortable, new.
Room was tiny. No amenities at hotel.

There is no better bohemian-type neighborhood. No hotel in the area offers cleaner, neater, or more architecturally beautiful interior at that price range.

The continental breakfast was great - better than typical continental breakfasts. It is in an amazing location, and close to the subway F train, so very easy to get to Brooklyn and uptown to sights like central park, MOMA, 5th ave etc.
We had one bad experience with our room being left unlocked by cleaning staff, but there were no issues with anything going missing and the hotel staff handled it fairly well. Also, the bathrooms are a little awkward because they are di

Mold in shower. Room was so small , 2 people couldnt stand up and walk around! Bed was a flimsy captains bed. Lobby doors livked at 11 pm and had to wait for an employee to let us in!

Would never recommend for cleanliness or room. Location and friendly staff were only redeeming values.

Great location, friendly staff and a quaint little breakfast area was a nice added bonus.
No ironing boards/irons in room; I am sure we could have requested one though.

Great value for the money. Yes, rooms are small but were better than we had expected. The breakfast is small but a great way to start the day and the staff is friendly. Location is great as well.

major road construction in front of hotel. No private parking within 4 blocks. Tiny room. Room and bed with the same. had to step over bed to cross room. Main street and lots of car honking due to construction in front of hotel.

See above. Priceliine rated 2.5 stars. I give it a 1.
