Hotel Guest Reviews of the Econo Lodge Cave City
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.April 4, 2013

Don't stay there. There are other hotels right there for close to the same price.

I had to book this room at the last minute. Not terrible for the price point, and if you just need to crash for a few hours. But you definitely get what you pay for...see the above complaints.

Cheap bottom rung hotel. If you want the cheapest with a fair quality room this is the place. We had a non-smoking room, but it stunk like people had been smoking in it.

This was an inexpensive place to stay that provided the needs I had. The pool was a nice outdoor pool, but the hot tub was not working and the pool ladder and furniture needed repaired. The beds were very comfortable. The staff was eager to please and the continental breakfast was adequate. I stayed at one of the state resorts two days earlier for twice the price and half the benefits. In comparison this place was better by far. Very kid friendly. ...

Good for an inexpensive stay- close to tourist areas around Mammoth Cave especially if you are staying with kids- mini golf, arcade, McDonalds etc closeby and a large pool which was clean. If you need to do business by internet the area is tough to get a signal- not the hotel's fault just the location because it's rural.
