Hotel Guest Reviews of the Econo Lodge Civic Center

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Easy access to the Inter state highways. Price was reasonable for what you get.
Mattress was worn out and like a board. The in-room fridge didn't work. 3 of the lamps didn't work.

Fairly clean no frills hotel. Nothing unusually special about the motel. The staff was friendly and courteous and the location was within an easy quick access to the inter state. A few restaurants close by. Ideal for someone wanting to attend an event at the Roanoke Civic Center, which is just minutes away.

Across the street from convention center.
The bugs.

Hotel was good for my needs because of it being across the street from the Roanoke convention center, too many bugs inside and outside, get "charged" twice but one charge got removed because we stayed the whole night.

Convenient.
Couple of bugs.

1 star hotel but I'd give it at least 1.5.

The second night was better because we had a nicer room, it was cleaner and better appointed.
The first night we had a room that was dirty (floor had not seen a vacuum in decades), and there were bugs in the shower.

Not a bad place to stay for a night or two. Check the room before staying there. Some rooms are nicer and cleaner than others.

Insufficient outlets, bathroom shower was inadequate, tub drain very slow and fill the tub, clock inoperative and located in wrong place.

Difficult to get in if you are traveling south on Orange Avenue, the bathroom is inadequate with loose wooden toilet seats. Heat regulator in bathroom is inadequate and makes a lot of noise. Wall outlets are hidden and difficult to get to and the one at the desk is overloaded.

The desk guy was nice.
Toilet paper holder, no soap, had to ask for towels, felt dirty and no TV remote.
